i see what you mean - it does add a nice glittery sparkle but nothing different to what a nyx glitter liner would do. not as much of a waste as i first thought though! your make up looks lovely in the pic btw - great blending!!

I think if you have the opportunity to grab any of the MES with a tiny glitter part it would be a good purchase. What I would be scared of.. imagine... you order them online and you get MES with almost half of it full of the glitter crescents of horror!

Wow, I didn't know they varied. I had enough depots left to B2M for three of these. I just asked for them and didn't pay any attention to how they looked. I haven't played with them yet. I didn't buy any of last years and not sure I would have paid almost $20 for these but I figure if I only use the color part it was still worth the B2M.

ITA! I looked at all of the MES until I found the one with the least of that glittery part.

Got my warm eyes Devil May Dare palette - I like it, especially the deep blackened burgundy & the brown. Its a nice little palette of colors.

Also got Under Your Spell - very pretty light icy mauvey pink. Probably not a must have, but its very feminine pretty.

oh, I also got from the Sephora FF - Nars Goddess pink champagne eye shadow pencil - its so pretty, very soft. I think I could end up liking these in more colors. They are really really soft & creamy.

Feel better, Allison!

I wore It's A Miracle today and it is such a pretty plum! I love that it leans more toward the purple side rather than the red side. I custom mixed a base using white, black and purple chromalines, and it just made such a pretty purple. Ahhh, I love purples!!

I was only going to get It's a Miracle but thanks to the lovely Katie Midnight Madness somehow managed to find it's way on the list.

I am also getting Utter Fun thanks to the high recs from Tish. Am wondering about Pervette. I have no pinks at all but I also have very pigmented lips. Could I wear Pervette (or Angel)? Maybe over Lip Erase?

I can't imagine how angry I would be if that happens!

So when I overspent on Style Black I told myself it's okay, no biggie since I won't be buying anything else and that the collection has concluded my MAC year. But no, I had to search "MAC Style Black" on youtube and god knows why stumbled upon MakeupFunWithJessie's video on this collection, got intrigued by Midnight Madness mes, came back on Spectra hoping for some review on it and I love the colour so much I don't know what to do! As a matter of fact I also like It's A Miracle.

I think about a month ago, I saw Midnight Madness on the swatch thread and was all like "PLEASE! Look at that chunky mess, who's gonna want to work with it! Not me!" and was laughing at the consistency of the gold in that mes.

Someone tell me what happened...................................

Yes, I had the MAs go through most (if not all) of the MES so that I could pick the ones with the smallest crescent.

It's a Miracles was used in the outer corner and under the undereye, a custom mixed pigment of my own creation on the inner & middle eyelid, and Unbasic White for highlight. UDPP and a purple custom mixed chromaline base was used - UDPP all over, purple chromaline on the outer corner.

Jingle Jangle is quite gorgeous and very pigmented for a dazzleglass.

Does anyone know what lip combo that the model is wearing in the promo picture? It looks like jingle jangle is on top but I don't know what the lipstick is.

I love that tutorial! It is the reason why I am even considering Midnight Madness until I saw that I was sure I could live without it, but now

You know what I think it is Total Wow with Jingle Jangle on top but I would suspect that they mixed TW and UF then put Jingle Jangle on top.

I think JJ is so pretty

, it had to be for me to get it. I have 3 dgs, they are not my thing.
