I can't wear alot of MAC's warmer blushes because they go orange on me - Nuance and Warm Soul included - but SDN stays a really pretty color on me thank goodness! I guess it just depends on your indivdual chemistry and other makeup you wear under it and how it all interacts, so you'll have to try it -- but there is hope, lol!

Thanks! I will try SDN on my cheeks at the counter before deciding. If it goes orange then I'll pass.

I am definitely picking up both the blushes, I'm a total blush addict! Am also thinking of grabbing Pervette and a lipglass, but no MES for me! I am not pro enough to use it without causing a big mess! LOL!

It actually doesn't, I'm surprised because any blush even remotely similar in colour has. Thing is, I'm not a fan of the colour based on personal taste (i prefer pinks, peachy pinks and plums) but it actually looks good on! I actually added Daft Pink as a highlight on the apples to make it a little more pink and quite like this combo! I'm really starting to prefer neutral or warmer cheek colour with the cooler shadows I tend to use in the fall and winter, and SDN seems to work well for that. Phew, that was a mouth full!!!

Hmm that Midnight Madness is looking lovely...and heaven knows I love a brown shadow. But I just can't, its a MES. I can't, I can't, I can't!

I'm a blush addict lately too! I don't know what's going on with me but it's getting out of hand.

I'd make a huge mess with the glitter too, just like last year. In fact, the MES from last year are the reason I refuse to buy these. They made such a damn mess, and I spent days cleaning up glittery cat paw prints after an "incident" with my way less than agile feline friend. Good times?

I have been on blush kick as well. A Nars Blush kick. The sephora sale has made me into a mad woman (visiting blogs, MUA) all in search reviews, swatches and favorites.

I am on swatch and info overload and still no clue to what to get because I want it them all.

These blushes look so glorious, but I have to stick to my guns and resist. I have so many blushes already and will never use them all on myself and even clients in my lifetime, I think.

This is a very pretty collection, except for the glitter crescents of horror.

Love this term!

The teal MES looks so gorgeous but I still can't get over the glitter. It seems like such a waste also because I already have some of lasts years glitter crescents of horror. I only used the glitter part of one yet... once.

may i ask what you used the glitter part for?! i actually don't know who people use them... is it just adding shimmer over the solid colour on your lid?!

I can't take credit for it - I believe Tish is the one who coined this term. So perfect!

I use the "glitter zipper" in my Word of Mouth MES from last year's Red She Said collection, but that's enough glitter in my life.

Lou - I use the MES glitter bits wet with water or Fix + to bring out more opacity to the colour.
