Now that I've seen swatches of both of the lip sets--if I had the money, I'd get them both just for the lippies. Mmm they look so good, especially Baron's Rose. Why can't I be RICH?
it's got a dark base but it's got plenty of teal shimmer - not glitter chunks, but not smooth frost shimmer either. 'More of a crystalline shimmer. You'd need to use it wet to get the maximum out of it. Also, like TFC, this pigment is very opaque, like a velvety base. You couldn't really use this sheer.

I ask myself this question every day.I think we've all asked ourselves that question at least once
That'd be great! The Viva Glam one?Awesome haul - very similar to my picks, and I'll give you first dibs on my bag if you'd like!
Since I wanted to make sure, I did the livechat, and asked them about Viva Glam Gaga and Cyndi. The MA said they will be available throughout the rest of 2010. So, whoever wants Gaga and Cyndi, don't wait too long. That'd be great! The Viva Glam one?
Thank you Shontay! That's so helpful. I have mixed feelings about this one, I really don't like vainglorious, not my kind of color, and I have swimming that looks so close to the green in this palette, but it just looks so colorful and nice and I'm really in the mood for antique golds and dirty grays...I can't say her review is wrong. Maybe she just got a bad palette or maybe she was expecting more, but this reminds me that in the end you really have to try things yourself. I might've skipped the palettes had I read her review first. It's sad that some people on the site said they will pass on all the palettes. My experience with this palette makes me want to buy the other ones!
Thank you guys!I ask myself this question every day.
This year's brush sets are definitely better quality than some years past. The hairs are softer overall, and although not every brush is equal (the 187's white hairs are not as long and precision spaced like the full size), some bushes are really nice - I got the face set since the 168 was full but a little smaller than the regular one, which is what I prefer. (Never got the full size 168 because it was just too big for my cheeks). The bags are really cute too, so that's something to consider.I believe she may be wrong on the brush sets as well! The sets that I saw/felt were thick full & soft. I always buy the short handle sets & only the red handle ones sucked. I have one of the regular 187 & its not near as full & lush as some that I have received in these kits.
^ I'd like to know just how close they are too. Cut a Caper is the kind of shade I usually love but I have EH AND Jazzed and I don't think I need it... THANKFULLY!
I wore Ever Hip to the unveiling to double check this - it's quite close. It's sheerer than Ever Hip and maybe a touch more coral. If you have Ever Hip, this isn't different enough to be worth it, unless you were looking for a backup color. Can anyone tell me how Cut A Caper compares to Ever Hip from LOL?? Thanks!!
