I may be a singular case, but this a skip for me. The only thing I`m still debating is orpheus el
Nice! Different enough to justify owning both. Thanks for the swatches.
Yup - I know I am! Kinda tired of pink but its for a good cause so stay the course! Thanks for your input!!! I never had Stiletto, so this may just be the thing that pushes me over the edge to get it! I look forward to hearing your thoughts after doing comparisons. And 31 days of pink lips does sound like a challenge...I'd probably start itching to pop on a different shade too. But good for you for supporting awareness!!!
Awww - that sucks!Hey! We only got the regular MAC bag at my store. Boooo!
I wonder if they're altering their approach given the MM fiasco. I don't know if it's just perception and not reality, but it certainly felt like a big chunk of the Pro sales went to eBay. Perhaps this is selfishness on my part, but given that regular MAC customers pay full price for the items and don't get a discount, I think there should be an equal chance of getting products. I have no issue with Pro stores getting the items a week early, but I'd personally like to see collections go online for everyone at the same time.I doesn't look like an early Pro release anymore....
i think they should keep the early release for pros but just not a week earlier maybe a 3/2 days earlier.I wonder if they're altering their approach given the MM fiasco. I totally agree with you on that. It's appalling! I think the only way to resolve this would be that current Pro members should be asked to provide proof that they are actually working full-time in the business. This action would certainly make it more difficult for those who received membership benefits but actually do not work in the industry anymore. However, I assume the logistics of this would be too difficult.I wonder if they're altering their approach given the MM fiasco. I'm not working in the beauty industry at the moment and have my cosmetology license. I think im entitled to a discount. I paid alot of money to school for it and i have to pay to upkeep my license.I totally agree with you on that. It's appalling! This action would certainly make it more difficult for those who received membership benefits but actually do not work in the industry anymore. However, I assume the logistics of this would be too difficult. My only issue with the late releases on Pro is that the benefits of a Pro membership included the preview/sales before it hit the regular site. This benefit was spotty in the past as there was no set time frame when collections would go up on Pro. As many Pro members do not live close to a Pro store, this was (and hopefully still is) a very useful feature. I don't think that MAC considers the MM release a fiasco. The hype was bigger than ever, so that's good news for MAC. From a business perspective, they are hitting all the right buttons. As of now, I hardly know anybody who stopped purchasing MAC because of the stressful shopping experience. If anything, people are just more pumped up and develop stalking strategies to get what they want. Anyway, I'm still hoping for a Pro release soon as I want my BU's. LOL
Can you use a mobile device? The costs for pay-as-you-go Internet are not too high anymore. I hope you get your stuff!OK, I am officially pissed off!
Turns out I won't have internet at home for several weeks from Nov 1st onwards and the NL release date for Glamour Daze is the 3rd. No stalking = no getting the stuff I want. Brilliant.
This isn't personal, but if you're not working in the industry then I disagree that you're entitled to a discount. You're a customer, no different than me. If you resume working in the industry, I think they should reinstate your status. Otherwise, what you once studied isn't particular relevant, IMO.I'm not working in the beauty industry at the moment and have my cosmetology license. I think im entitled to a discount.
