WHAT DID YOU HEAR? other than they were replacing them? I am so nosey about this because all the girls at my counter are out and out RUDE to me...and I am like LADY i am here to spend money...make me want to spend my money here instead of crying in a corner
OFF TOPIC (somewhat) but do not know where to post this.
Something happened recently that made me rethink my purchasing loyalty to MAC.
On Monday, I went to the counter and saw a group of people doing makeup sessions instead of the usual group of ladies who greeted me. A lady came up and I asked her what was going on. It turned out that the counter ladies who helped me during the last year were no longer with MAC. Only two people (who I barely knew) remained and the makeup sessions were actually part of the interviews for replacing the group.
Later on, I was privy to information and I felt that with what I heard, I cannot in good conscience visit that counter. And I do not know if I want to purchase MAC products as well.
Out of respect for the people who I came to know as kind-hearted spirits, I am skipping the Glamour Daze collection, and most likely, future collections.
Edited to add: No, I do not intend to denigrate anyone who buys MAC products now and in the future. And if you have a great set of counter staff who are sweet and help you immensely, continue to visit them.
I second.I would so like to know what did you hear?
Sanitized version (because I cannot elaborate*): They got fired. The remaining staff got off scot-free (for now).WHAT DID YOU HEAR? other than they were replacing them? Nope, not Seattle. I am talking about a counter in Fort Wayne, IN. BTW, the visitors conducting the makeup interviews, plus the coverage help all came from Indianapolis and Chicago.OK OK OK! At least tell me which counter you go to...is it somewhere in SEATTLE?!!!!
Nope, they know better than selling on EvilBay. They would be fired much sooner if they pulled that stunt!I would like to know too! we are all curious. Inquiring minds want to know! * sorry I posted before I saw your new post. .....hmmm i wonder if they were selling on ebay........
I would assume not, unless MadTheologian has not updated the location on their profile. Looks like this has been answered!OK OK OK! At least tell me which counter you go to...is it somewhere in SEATTLE?!!!!
The girls at my MAC counter (except for one) are all so catty. I'm use to women being that way... but in general, it rubs me the wrong way. I feel almost judged or maybe in my insecure thinking; ugly. That's why I stopped buying from the counters. I try to just buy online. Only when I need to BU (If its not online) do I go to the counters.

I usually order my goods online because it is so ridiculous in there. How hard is it to be nice? I worked in retail for 5+ yrs and can't imagine being that rude to costumers!Nope, not Seattle.
