It's unfortunate, but if MAC is cracking down on something (just speculating), then good for them. Luckily, I love the crew at the counters I visit, so I hope they stick around for a long while!

Hmm, wonder what it could have been for it wasn't an ebay issue...

That is the thing: if they are cracking down on something unethical, MAC would have fired the WHOLE crew systematically instead of leaving two people behind.

The girls at my MAC counter (except for one) are all so catty. I'm use to women being that way... but in general, it rubs me the wrong way. I feel almost judged or maybe in my insecure thinking; ugly. That's why I stopped buying from the counters. I try to just buy online. Only when I need to BU (If its not online) do I go to the counters.

Yes. Thats how my experiences with the stores have always been. Which is why I buy most of my stuff from the Nordstroms. I walk to the pro store. Test out the stuff. Then walk to the Nordstroms and pre-order with them. haha..

Oh ok! well I will quit being nosey I wish the people at my mac store here at SOUTHCENTER! yes I named them! would be nicer and more helpful! I usually order my goods online because it is so ridiculous in there. How hard is it to be nice? I worked in retail for 5+ yrs and can't imagine being that rude to costumers!

That is what I would end up doing instead of the counter: online only. Sorry that Southcenter is that rude. (Will file this under "Places to Avoid on a Trip.")

MEEEE TOOOOOOOOO you read my mind! I only order online unless there is something i absolutely need in less than a week haha! Plus they all look like they put their makeup on in the dark...plus mean...equals RIDICULOUS

Ugh Feminine Edge is soooooo gorgeous to me,but I'm wondering if the texture will work as a base??? It would be kind of nice if it wouldn't it'd make my wallet much happier anyways.

I loved all the girls at my counter, then THREE of them got pregnant and went on leave!!

I hardly know the new SAs and worse yet they don't know me and how much money I spend there.

Ok. Ladies. I gave in and decided to buy Beauty. Here is how I've made it work for me... and of course there are photos.

I first put some Sugar Fresh lip treatment on to moisturize, then wiped off the excess. Lined and colored in my lips with Staunchly Stylish, then covered my lips with Beauty. It looked a little wonky so I added Pink Treat around the edges and added Bait lip glass. I actually like it and have found way to wear it. I really wanted to like it so I'm glad I found a way. The girl at MAC recommended Nice and Spicy Liner, which I picked up, she was a WOC but I bet this would look good on everyone, she lined her lips and colored her whole lip too then applied Beauty.

Also in the picture, Superb worn almost like a bronzer/blush with Small Vanity over it. If anyone was wondering. I dont know that I need WOG because I am loving Superb so much right now.

I wish I could drive over to Nordstrom's and to Saks that easily. I would be the one hanging out at Le Metier and Cle De Peau. Our city has a Von Maur, but they only have few counters (Chanel, EL, Lancome, Clinique).

I don't want to sound like a complainer, but I agree I don't like going to Mac store, because of the people that work there, not friendly they just want to get rid of me asap, and I asked them to make over my sisinlaw, and omg over done her makeup she had wayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy to much bronzer and dark brown eyeshadow, she looked like bruised, she had to take it off before leaving that store, then the MA got pissed and was like well you asked for smokey nature makeup, but seriously she over done her bronzer and eye makeup... lol maybe they have poor lighting. She really looked BAD.

Nordies girls are way nice, they actually want to sell me things, and ask what I am looking for..thats why I perfer to go to Nordies.

I will say that although my past experiences with the store was bad my current experiences with the store have been great. I sent an complaint email, and it took MAC over a month to respond with their generic "we're sorry for your experience" email and ever since then they've been super nice to me. But I still go to Nordie's cause I have my girls and I cant sit and talk with them and they let me be and shop.

I agree 100%! I detest going to Mac stores because most of the time the women are soooo mean. I once had my makeup done (MOA mac) and it looked awful. My friend had hers done too right after by the same MUA and she looked horrible too. We both looked like we had black eyes. We very sheepishly went to a Nordies counter to see if they would fix it. They did and were appalled at the makeup that was done on us. They actually had to wipe us clean and start over. Our new looks were awesome!! But I will never forget getting stabbed in the eyes by a Mac MUA... And having the fake bruises to prove it. I much rather prefer shopping online. No BS.

You're gorgeous! I've got to try that combo when I get Small Vanity it looks so pretty.

I've only ever had good experiences with the MUAs at the Dallas pro store and the store I go to here in Austin. I guess I'm lucky. I still don't go in often though because it is a hassle to commute and even when people are nice to me I still have social anxiety. I actually get nervous that I will seem mean to them.

The counters I've been to are the opposite. I always feel like people are pushing products on me. Same with the CCOs.

If it is not up tonight then I'm pretty sure it will be up the 22/23 in the am. I hope. Small Vanity is the prettiest of the three blushes. OF is a must have color. I have nothing like it. SOOO pretty. Beauty is a soft pale pink very 60's IMO which I like. The pink gloss set if definitely on my list. All the colors are beautiful. The eyeshadow clutches seemed small to me and I already have way too much eyeshadow. I wasn't pre-ordering so I didn't ask her to bring anything else out (she was very nice but then again she knows I'm an addict

) those were just the things I will be ordering online. Making this a small haul because I want a few things from Making Pretty.

Hi everyone! It's been a while since I've been on here- too busy n stressed out lately. Anyway, I preordered some GD items from my Nordies a couple weeks ago: 1 Superb EDSF -I keep debating on switching to Whisper of Gilt but I'm really not sure...any recommendations? 1 Dramatic Encounter l/s 1 Small Vanity blush 1 Orpheus kohl eyeliner pencil Trying to keep the order small since $ is kinda tight at the moment. If I had the funds, I'd totally b/u Dramatic Encounter & Orpheus. Maybe they'll still be around when or if I get extra $...*fingers crossed*
