MAC In Extra Dimension Collection 2013 (April 2013)

I just called Macys and was told they just finish putting away Fashion Sets as it came in today. I asked when she would get ED and was told she also just put it away as well. I was promised that if I got there today b4 6pm I cud see both collections so everyone kno what's up...............playtime......can't promise pics but at least will give some feedback

I see that Debby from Beautyscene is saying they might release this & the Fashion sets collection on counters as well! So it's not definitely pro store only YET !!!

This is going to be a "must be swatched" collection for me...I am going to have to travel to the store because I am so back and forth about it.

Ugh me too, I love the ED e/s that I have already from another collection (Evening Grey I think) but I am very interested in the blushes... Only problem is that there's a 1.5 hour trainride to the closest store. Fml.

I don't know how to say this in standard English but near the end of the story on her blog she says available in mac stores ? And she does not mention the pro only store anymore.

Yeah, but there's still just one store in the netherlands. I'll ask my counter next week when Baking Beauties comes out

OK, I played with Bareness a bit. It is very subtle. And apparently I lost all my swatching and photographing skills, so I don't know if this is useful. Bareness on the left and a swipe of Poised next to it. This is taken with flash. Poised is a bit darker, Bareness more rosey. I'd say the finish is very similar to Satin powder blushes, maybe a bit more sheen. So if you like that, your wallet is most def in trouble. It's not as metallic/shimmery as the (original, can't say anything wbout the ones in this collection) EDSF. But - I had to layer a lot to get the swatch to show up like that, the color payoff doesn't seem as good as regular powder blushes. I have doubts that this color would show on darker skintones. Will have to try it on my face and figure out what brush to use best.

ompom: To me, bareness was looking very "higlight only" in colour. Glad it actually has some colour! Still all the blushes (except FC) and DD EDSF for me!

Walking out of Macys now. Pls don't underestimate the shadows, they look one way however swatched another . Opalesse is a nice opal color, it looks white with pink peeking thru in the pan. On my hand it is a very pretty pink. Triple Impact is more blue pinky-purple, very pretty. The sky blue shadow is also real nice and would pair well with Zestful which was the biggest shocker. See below:-

Zestful is much brighter and vibrant than it appears. I have to get it now. Smoky Mauve swatched the palest on my and I thought it would be the most visible one. I didn't try the silver one. Thet only had Definitely Defined SF , it is close to Glorify and Superb IMO but still see differences to justify getting it. The real standouts to me are TRIPLE IMPACT, OPALESSE AND ZESTFUL.

I will add more on the blushes later when I get time. It was hard to swatch on hand but I see on another post here that they perform better with the brush. I am wearing Heroine lipgloss however it is a a tad bit messy, settling on my lips but I will be getting it nonetheless as it is pretty. The girls were wearing Opalesse on their cheeks

Well, she's says mac stores in NL ánd Belgium so I think that's why it's plural and the title says 'pro store exclusive'. And as far as I know (I contacted MAC last week) it won't be sold online. It SUCKS that Fashion Sets in another pro store exclusive, it's hard enough to get the stuff you want and now every collection is exclusive to either the pro store or bijenkorf. FU MAC

I already got a cp for some items of Fashion Sets, cause I want a lot of Heroine l/l and I was afraid stock would be too low for all my BU's haha and then I asked for Heroine l/s (need another BU of this I just love it so much!), Silly l/s and l/l as well. I knew for sure I wanted these, but I need more swatches and comparisons for EM and Ablaze, so I'll get those when they're released here even if that means yet another trip to Amsterdam.
