The color range on these colors for the Lightful 2-in-1 is super narrow. No Light Plus either :(

I went to my MAC store today to check this out. According to the SA, the clear serum is the same as the Lightful C serum sold separately. When I looked at the texture side-by-side, the serum sold with with the 2-in-1 was thicker and more champagne colored. I didn't do an ingredient comparison though.

My local store wasn't really ready to show these yet (they didn't have a full range of testers). They had the Deep Dark out, but I don't feel like I got a good sense of this formula yet because I couldn't play with it in anything close to my shade. I'm curious to see what others think.

What I did see was very little coverage (just as @dominic_mua said on his insta account "The tint can be used under #foundation, over #moisturiser or how ever you want. There is next to no coverage but it seems to beautify the #skin!!")

So just to add a little polish, and a touch of coverage. Unlike some serum foundations, this is not going to hide much, and will let lots of skin show through.

That's just pathetic!

Ah well. On to the next one. Look forward to seeing any updates on your blog/here if you do get to try them.

I went back to my MAC store today to get some brushes. The SA recognized me, and said she'd found the testers. I had a makeover with Light, and I will say that the color-adjusting properties of this foundation is extreme. Although it applied super light on me, it did adjust down oxidizing (or color-adjusted) before my very eyes in about a minute. Then it stayed stable the rest of the day. I asked the SA if the darker shades do this, and she said they do.

It does give more coverage than I originally thought, obviously not as much as a MAC Pro Longwear or most of MAC foundations. It's interesting. Today's SA said that the clear serum treatment is NOT the same as the original Lightful C serum released earlier this year (but that this new one has more skin care ingredients). I'll keep playing with it, and hope to get a post up as soon as I can (which won't be super fast I'm afraid).

I was really interested in the 2-in-1, but I guess I've been wanting something with light to medium coverage (or at least buildable light coverage). When my skin is good, I think this product would work beautifully. But when it's bad...that's a whole other story.

Nice! That sounds good. I'll try to see if I can get a sample. Hopefully it'll work out.

I would have to agree about the color adjusting properties. I am NC50, slightly darker in the summer. When I first swatched Dark Deep in store, I balked. But as I blended it into the skin, it disappeared. I decided to give it a go and got a sample.

It looks like I'm applying an NC45 tinted moisturizer on my skin when I dot it on, but it literally blends in and is the perfect shade-- no chalky or ashy effects. It is very light coverage, but does cover enough to make my skin look polished and put together.

Quick upload of ingredient lists for tint from the 2-in-1 (this one in Light):

Ingredients for 2-in-1 serum (the nearly clear skincare ingredient to be used 2x a day):

Here's the ingredient list for the Lightful C essence serum released earlier this year:

I'm a little late to the party but I picked up the cleanser, moisture cream, and eye cream. So far I love it! I use the cleanser with my Clarisonic Mia and it's awesome.

Just came in here b/c I saw in the upcoming thread that they are bringing out a cusion compact foundation. I'm already addicted to these.

If you're in Asia, the Powder Foundation from this line is really nice. I like this one better than the one from the silver compact!
