I'm back from MAC
I checked this collection again, and even took Twinks and Antiqued, Crystal Avalanche & Gesso E/S and #213SE. And for the first time ever I actually put the eye shadows on my eyes at the store!!
Antiqued & GC were nothing alike. Then I applied Twinks on one eye and GC on the other, Twinks took about 5 swatches for the color to look good while 2 from GC but at the end they really looked very close ... Yes GC has tiny plum/red sparkle but you really have to look closely to see it. if I needed to get one of them with no doubt I would've got GC but I already have Twinks so I decided to skip GC, what also helped me to decide to skip it is that my 2 brown palettes are full, and it wasn't unique enough for me to go through the trouble of deciding on which brown to move to another palette.
Gusso & UW were nothing alike, so I only applied UW on one eye and Crystal Avalanche on the other, they were also very close, but CA has a sliverish sparkle/cast while UW was a bit beigey, I liked them both, but really did not feel that I needed both. and it wasn't that amazing on me with my olivey undertone. Also my highlight palette is full so I didn't have an itch to buy it.
I guess i'm in a make-up rut, I have way to many make-up that I don't feel the need to get everything I like. and ofcourse having my eyes set on Makeup Art Cosmetics (can't wait to check the orange and light yellow E/S, i'm not interested in the palettes), also Style Black (the 4 MES look yummy).
Surprisingly what caught my eyes was Fashion Groupie, but also didn't get it because its not that different from the purples I already own. So at the end my favorite color is One Off
