I love green, it's my favorite color, so I tend to go towards those shadows. I doubt I'll go back and get it, though, unless I see it at a CCO down the road.

^^ Ok...I just found the texture to all be the same to be honest ....I had the original and the new ones and they seem to be the same to me..I guess I got lucky...But if all e/s could have the Starflash finish in any manner I would buy every single one in every single color..I actually love Grand Entrance then and now...

I found they weren't identical at all! S&D was just.. omg!!
I know some people agree that the textures have varied for them too, so hopefully am not alone. XD

If I had never known about MAC and just purchased S&D first, i would have assumed it was some super new and improved creme-to-powder eyeshadow formula. Even the other starflash shadows don't compare.

I know someone out there must know what i'm on about

^ i have the ones from this year and last. and i do thing there is SOME minor minor variation, but they do go on buttery smooth when you apply. i think the fish scale phenomenom is refering to the flakiness on either grand entrance or dreammaker but i dont think its no where near the flakeyness of my pressed pigments. it doesnt bother me at all. still buttery goodness!

yes. like all MAC pencils i'd recommend MAC's sharpener.

i can't think of any other way to sharpen a pencil, other than with a sharpener.

I completely agree.. I was so disappointed with dreammaker from last year and when I swatched it this year I fell in love and also felt ripped off lol.

the other colours that I noticed a difference in for repromotes were Smoke & Diamonds and Glamour Check. When I swatched these they felt like pressed pigments rather than like the starflash e/s from last year. Dont get me wrong - I love my Starflash from last year but these seemed to be new & improved and competely drool worthy
