I only had the wooden tongs to grab them with...they're slightly burnt on the tip but nothing too serious!

It was my first time depotting and they all came out perfect so I'm sure you'll do just fine!

Skip Ego. Those type of pinks will be ashy and stark on dark skin and even a base won't help. Girlie e/s is a nice pink but it comes off matte. MAC is not known for making the best pinks.

I'm a bit worrying now about depotting my starflash shadows, I was just about to depot them when I read you were having problems with them. Is it just the glue that is giving the trouble? Do they tend to crack more easily than "normal" shadows? I'm depotting without heat. Those are my dear treasures and I would cry if anything happened to them!

Didn't mean to scare anyone.

I just found the amount of glue used to be excessive and even with heat the glue wasn't melted down much. That said I still managed to poke the metal pan out without having to use much force. If you're not using heat maybe give it more time for the alcohol to soak in before trying to take the pan out.

^ i've got pale skin and pinks from mac don't seem to look right on me either! they always seem to have poor payoff no matter which one i try! i use red velvet as a base which helps loads but because of the hastle nof pinks i tend to stay clear.

I found the e/s very fragil since they are so soft. My smoke and diamonds e/s got damaged while depotting. :-(

Ego is actually my most used e/s from this collection. On me it shows up as a shimmery baby pink, just what I wanted. My skin is on the lighter side of medium range (SSF NW25). I do agree that MAC doesn't make the best pinks though. The only ones I like are Ego and Post Haste. MUFE makes much better pinks, I love #26 and #75

if only i had better access to MUFE to see in real life!

i looked at the stuff in paris but ran out of money so couldn't buy anything. and in the uk we have no stores here but there is an internet site based in london where i could order from. but the don't stock everything

I sometimes wear pinks if I'm in the mood. The only pink eyeshadow that I love is Da Bling. That I don't have a problem with and Swish is also one of my favorite pink eyeshadows. I now want MUFE eyeshadow #75! I've seen it at Sephora and will get it this time whenever I can. Anyway, I just recieved my backup of Smoke & Diamonds e/s today and boy I'm so glad that I did get a backup of it or else I would have to stop using S&D for a long time!

I use to think the same about pinks, that they don`t look good on me or they don`t show up, but lately I`m exercising with make-up that usually doesn`t look good on me(pinks and blues) and I came with a looke yesterday that I loved and it really brighten my eyes
Kitchmas pg(ego would be fine) tearduct, pink pearl pg(or stars n rockets) all over lid, shale es crease, panadamonium es(or knight divine they are dupes) outer v.,kid es to blend, and for hg any ight es with a touch of pink

pink pearl is an amazing pigment! that's a pink that looks good on me! and if you try it over delft paint pot it goes this amazing tealy colour!

Oh no....

I hope the damage isn't too big.

It's very soft isn't it! I've dropped almost all of them once while holding them over the stove but nothing managed to come into contact with the surface so I was lucky none got damaged.
