MAC - Love that Look Discussion

Can I just say how much I love my MAC counter??? I called them last night to book a makeover for the launch day. She told me it was next Thursday, so I booked an appt for that morning.
So when it got released this morning, which I had no idea...they called me and put all the ones I was slightly interested in away for me! So I went down there this evening. I ended up cancelling my makeover since it was so last minute and my hubby was with me. My fav gal was working tonight. I don't really know her, but she's stunning. A pin up beauty.
Anywho....got Smoke & Diamonds, Dreammaker, Style Snob, Ego and a back up of Grande Entrance.
I didn't plan on Ego but I'm a sucker for pinks. And I was really surprised how much I liked Dreammaker. I don't have any other colors like this one.
I loved Glamour Check. I still might go back and get it. But on my skin it looked like what I was wearing already on my eyes tonight....Woodwinked and Bronze, so I didn't get it.
I have to say the Strike a Pose was amazing!!! I didn't pick it up because I just can't make blues work for me. But if I could wear blues, this would be the one to have.
Oh, and I also got Made with Love lipstick from the Color craft collection. What a gorgeous coral!
Then my sweet hubby treated me to this jacket from Bebe

I got it in white. It's so soft on the skin. He knows I've been eyeing this jacket forever and it was on sale today! Its just not often we get to treat ourselves so much.

I would say no on that. I bought most of them with suite array and i never did try them on the waterline however.

Also the way I chose to wear the Pearl Glide Eye Liners that I bought when Suite Array came out, was next to another liner, generally feline on the water line with one of the coloured ones Just Below the water line on the lower lash line, or above if I chose to line the upper lid (though my hand is not super steady) I mentioned it way back when they first came out and I got mine. I didn't buy any this go round because I already have all the colours I wanted from last fall

I tried S&D today without a base and I'm amazed at the staying power. The colour hasn't faded AT ALL and it's been 8 hours. And when I rub my lid with my finger the colour does not transfer at all! I hope all the starflash shadows are like this.
Btw...Do the pearlglide liners glide on nicely? And how's the staying power?

Ok the doorbell was my neighbor...I got things that had nothing to do with this collection TOO...I told my husband i was so happy...he said did you think I would not have you get anything because of a bet .....
he said my present was because I had gone thru so much with Boz so he couldn't honor the bet we made...

i need to get s&d asap! i'd hope the other ones are the same also, this will be my first time purchasing starflash shadows
the pearlglide liners are so easy to work with. i havent tried them on my lids yet. i've only used them on my lower lash line but it stays put nicely! where as if i wouldve use my normal everyday black liner it'd be gone in the matter of a couple hours

Thats funny his brother does live in Cali..That is where they are from...But he is a DEAD BEAT!! we call him a professional Hustler...That means no job with benefits ... and possibly...no probably illegal at that...

They are easy to apply (smooth) and stay very well (though there are varrying opinions) Form me they are , soft and smooth, and after you let them set, they last a long while. So if you want to blend them or touch up you have to do it right away but then your set for your day

the starflash are supposed to be fade-resistant, but some people on here have said that they fade quickly on them. these don't fade on me (nothing does really).
the pearlglides are buttery smoothe and don't fade or smudge, well, they're not supposed to. but same with the starflash, others on here say they smudge. it all depends on your skin chemistry really.
