^Agreed. Bitter has no color payoff whatsoever!! I am going to get Rated R! Also, I'm going to order a eyeshadow palette and do a Starflash Eyeshadow Palette if I ever do get all of the eyeshadows that is.

I was thinking of buying Satelite Dreams, but than I saw Fashion Groupie swatches, and they really do look very similar. which one should i get?

Get Fashion Groupie....you can always get SD anytime if you still want it....Just my thoughts...unless you are getting the pro pan to save money then get SD

Thats what I did...I put them all in a pro palette and threw in Ricepaper and Carbon

The packaging is the old one with the sticker on the top of the box. At least mine were.

...Or am I just making waves for the people, like myself, who shelled out the clams last year on a new formulation which included backups for some colors, who may now feel like we've been somewhat cheated out of a superior finish?

^^^i think that S&D this year is the same as last year. dreammaker and grand entrance suck just as much as last year. and the light purple and light pink from last year sucked in terms of payoff and texture. the rest of em this year and last year are/were kickass and mac seriously needs to make em perm.

Awesome! Carbon is in my first palette right now with the other e/s and I think I showed you all my first eyeshadow palette. I'll definately get Ricepaper in pan form!

Erin!!! Why dont they make it perm??

I thought of you at work today, I met a guy who used to be the head of product development for MAC. He left and started his own design firm and does ammmaaaaazing things. MAC occasionally employs his design firm, he designed the lightful packaging. I wanted to bombard him with questions but I held back, i didnt want to scare him!

PS- the grand entrance I tried at Nords was buttery, i didn't see a prob at alllll with the texture.

^Yeah, why can't MAC make the Starflash e/s perm and bring back the four other colors like Suset B., Star by Night, Top Hat and Talent Pool e/s back and be perm like the dazzleglasses?

I was very tempted to get Glamour Check but the MA put in on the back of my hand next to Antiqued and they are vveerryy similar. I also noticed that Style Snob (which I also liked) was dupeable to Satin Taupe. I ended up getting Rated R, Strike a Pose, Fashion Groupie and One-off. I'd rather wait for the Makeup Art Cosmetics Collections coming out later this month (have you guys seen promos of it?! Wowzers!)

i don't know why they don't make it perm, but i sure wish they would!

the texture is buttery, but its (and dreammaker) very flakey!

ahh yes! that was the name of it! sunset b. and lotusland were really lacking last year IMO!
