^^ I've always thought Lotusland was so pretty, but I worry it's a little too similar to Parfait Amour or Lil' Lily, which I already have.

I picked up Grande Entrance last Thursday, tried it on and sent it back because although it swatched like butter on the back of my hand when I swatched it but on my lid it was very patchy due to the chunky glitter. And I like my all over lid colour to be solid. The glitter got into my eyes and I couldn't open them for a moment!

Get Fashion Groupie. They're sooo similar (from the swatches), so it'll have to come down to the finish. I'll take Starflash anytime, compare to other finishes that MAC has.

Sunset B. was my least favorite of all of the Starflash e/s last year. It really needs to improve on the payoff dept

my new favorite look right now; black russian smudged all over the eye (top and bottom) i diffuse the edges with my #219 and then add s&d in the crease, prep n prime eye in deep dark as the blender shade and mylar as the highlight. it makes a beautiful but edgy glittery black to grey smokey eye. i did a youtube vid for the look, i just need to edit and post it. i love the pearlglides as shadows. did fly-by-blu with strike a pose today, super pretty!

I finally went to swatch these bad boys and boy, they are like butta baby!!

I swatched Style Snob against Satin Taupe and SS is a bit more pinker? than ST but still pretty. Satellite Dreams is a bit more purple than Fashion Groupie but still very pretty. I liked all of the e/s and want every single one!!! The MA had One Off and Carbon and it looked FAB!! I really loved Fly-by-blu and Rave also...the other ones didn't impress me as much. I'm so glad that my will power was strong enough to hold off until Thursday to get the ones that I want because I was about to get some NSF's if I did!!

DAMN THIS ECONOMY!!

went and looked at these today.. the new formula is sooo niceee. i already ordered Style Snob and Smoke & Diamonds online the other day, but when i swatched them today I suddenly wanted Strike A Pose. I hardly ever wear blues though.. sad!

I just got a lovely MUAer to CP me two eyeshadows from this collection: Style Snob & One-Off. I can't wait to receive them! I already have Smoke&Diamonds from the previous Starflash collection. I wish MAC would make them permanent already!

So popping in since I have finally been back home from vacation for a day now lol. I still have reading to catch up on here, I cant wait to play with my goodies though when I wake up later on today! My mom is so awesome since my grandparents live out in the boonies in New Jersey, my mom picked up the stuff that I wanted for me so it didn't sell out. And Tish I am sooo sorry about your puppy (I know I'm late lol) I hope the person gets hit by a car or something (sorry jetlag talking) anyways off to bed! I need sleep!

Use it wet and it becomes a dream. I have sensitive eyes and always get things caught in my eye but not with grand entarance.

Yeah, I noticed that Grand Entrance was kind of... patchy? That's the only way I can think of to describe the application of it.

I bought it at a CCO, so I can't complain TOO much... I was also using a crappy brush with it (my MAC brushes need to be cleaned and I haven't had time to do so yet), so maybe once I'm using my 239 with it it'll be better. I like the color, but the uneven application of it is not cute.

i would imagine it's your brush then. i've not heard of any starflash finish shadow being patchy before

i can't wait for next week! keep thinking of lots of looks to do with rated r and one off!

I will stay strong and try to pass on this collection. I really like some of the e/s colors, but I really need to save some $$$ for the fall collections. I need to stay away from MAC store as far as I can.

I hate dreammaker, mine is awful. I think i got a bad one though, it has no payoff just glitter chunks.
