Yay for the vicodin! But boo on the dental work

Face2Mac, hope you feel better soon! I know how a visit to the dentist can be a real PITA.

I just got my UBW, Fashion & Rate R last night, can't wait to play with them! I also just received Silvering and can't help but notice, it's a little similar to Fashion, without the blueish tinge. Has anyone did a look with Fashion yet? I think it's really pretty!

I swatched it against White Frost. They are very similar.
If you can pack White Frost over a white base, then surely you can live without it.

I've used Fashion with Strike a Pose and in combination with Carbon and Ego, and with Star by Night from last year's Starflash collection - I find it pretty versatile.

Hi!

I would like to have Style snob and Rated "R" from this collection. One off and Strike a pose could be nice too.

I have hazel eyes, brown hair and light neutral/yellow skin tone. Do you think Strike a pose could be fine for me? There is no MAC counter in this city where I live so I have to order eyeshadows without seeing.

Hey ladies, I need your opinion.

I'm going to MAC today to return Fly-by-blu due to severe eye irritation. What should I exchange it for? I'm thinking of getting Style Snob. I'm also not sure of keeping One-Off (haven't tried it yet) -- I don't wear too much green. Should I return One-Off or substitute it for Humid? Which is the more versatile colour of the two?

I think you will really like SAP - I have similar coloring to yours though different color hair....and I LOVE SAP! I'm more of a neutral/pink/greys kind of girl when it comes to eye shadow, but I have found a number of ways to wear SAP and I like them all! It provides me a nice alternative to my *boring* other looks

I usually wear green or purple eye shadows and now I want to try something different.

I'm kind of trying to skip this collection, as I am going to spend a small fortune on Make-up Art Cosmetics and Style Black.

But I really want to go get One Off and Fly by Blu at the very least...

I just did a nice soft look with the following Starflash shadows:

Painterly paint pot on lid as base
Style Snob over whole lid
Fashion Groupie in crease
Unbasic White over Style Snob on center lid; also tear duct area
Ego over Style Snob on inner 1/3
Blackberry in outer v
Phloof to highlight
UD Rockstar liner

Applied and blended with Sephora platinum #25 cream shadow brush

I'm thrilled with the result!!

honestly i find the colours are so fifferent from each other and both can be used in many ways. however if you don't wear much green maybe humid would be better because it's not as bright and makes a great crease colour. but one off is amazing and it'd be a shame to return it - looks great as a lid colour, or maybe use it on your lower lash line to get used to greens?

The colors are so tempting, I don't dare walking close to my MAC store anymore.

Thanks. I decided to keep One-Off. I swatched all the greens @ the store and MAC has nothing like One-Off from its permanent collection. It truly is a unique colour. I think I'll get Humid next time.

I also returned Fly-by-blu and B2M'd for Style Snob. $19.78 CAD saved! (yes -- almost $20 CAD for an eyeshadow? crazy.)
