The no-heat method works for me, for some reason I cannot believe that all that heat is good for the eyeshadows. But true, the no-heat method takes a bit practise.
Did you all depot your Starflash eyeshadows? Do they stay in their pans? I had one of them all out of their posts and am not sure if I should depot them.

the problem with the alcohol method is that you have to be patient. let the it sit for a couple of minutes before starting to pry it out or you'll damage the eyeshadow. and if you accidentally put too much alcohol, it will dampen the eyeshadow and leave water stains it

Thanks, I will give them a try then. I had one or two Starflash that literally fell out of the pan and was happy they were still in the pot.

When I depot it looks more like surgery with all the tools lying around.

Lol..I still do the good old fashioned candle method...works good for me! I tried using my flat iron, but I went to go put wax paper on it and it started smoking..lol! Is that normal? I got scared that I was going to wreck it so I scraped that idea! I depotted 12 eyeshadows on Friday and by the time I was done I was feeling pretty lightheaded..lol

Nothing like a good old Candle Wax High!! I use this method too...just seems easier and quicker with perks

I use the candle method too, although I always feel like I'm cooking crack or in a meth lab or somethin' when I depot lol. Well worth it tho since I can B2M for at least 2 lippies, so just gotta wait for the right ones! I must say these shadows totally kick arse and should be made perm...along with the liners.

Only the best!! I save my partylite tealight candles for my depotting nights...it tends to give the plastic chemical smell a little extra omph..lol

Same here! I'm depotting with my raspberry sorbet candle as we speak!

Just an fyi-dont depot with curious puppies in the room. I stopped to take a bathroom break and dahlia took my pliers. She's taken shadows before, so I was afraid she took some this time along with the pliers. Now she's in a timeout in her cage and lily is going nuts not being able to be near her.

Always depot when critters are nowhere in site!

I do the flat iron method. I almost did the candle method but the flat iron that my mom has works best. Oh btw, I recieved Style Snob and One-Off! They are really pretty!

oh gosh! i tried the enkore method and it broke my eyeshadow! NEVER againnn i dont reccomend it.

for flat iron, you do NOT use "WAX paper". Use Parchment Paper. they are completely different!!

I always use wax paper when using the flat iron method and my eye shadows come out perfect. What is the difference between wax paper and parchment paper?
