MAC - Love that Look Discussion

I finally took the plunge and picked up Smoke and Diamonds. Loving it! Soooo soft and creamy! It turned a little green on my lids, a little like Benefit's Skinny Jeans cream shadow. I expected it to more of a bronzy taupe from how it swatched on my hand.
I used it with UDPP and Phloof! as the highlight, and L'Oreal HIP liner in navy. I think I might need something more white than the pinky tone of Phloof!, though.
Only bummer is that I got a pot that shakes a little.
The shadow isn't loose, it's the top plastic part. Weird.

lol. to mushroom: lets just say i own enough to fill a 15 palette
and im opting to get the "close enough" eyeshadows. i already own lotusland the purple from last year but i still want fashion groupie and even though talent pool is different, i might end up with strike a pose. and im lemming ego as i "need" a light pink in starflash..........
i hope next year they will make a true black starflash
oh winnie, if anything, starting out with starflash eyeshadows is the best thing that could ever happen to you. buy all the starflash and u wont need anything else!! until next year of course
i think for you, its good to start out with unbasic white on the inner lid, style snob on the rest of the lid, glamour check in the crease and outerv and you can deepen with carbon or whatever you got thats dark. im sure u can think of more ideas from that~ ego/dreamaker/grand entrance are also really pretty as a light wash over the lid if you dont want to bother too much with eyeshadow. it looks great with just some mascara and cheek and lippie stuff
and gosh, bunny looks really pretty! i love the eyes

my beautiful iris shadow was like that. i depot mine though so it didn't make much of a difference

I finally got my LTL fix. This is what I hauled:

Molasses and Fly-by-Blu pearlglides (I had Black Russian from before).
I am so happy with everything! Ego and Style Snob will look great together for an everyday look, I think, and Ego will look nice with Fashion Groupie, too. Strike a Pose is
Glamour Check is a good, basic brown, I probably have stuff that's similar but to be honest I don't even care, I love the starflash finish so much.
Unbasic White hadn't come to the counter I was at, I'll be checking it out later in the week. I'll probably go back for Rave pearlglide, too. This collection ROCKS!
The best thing was that the MA gave me a FREE Sublime Nature paint AND Bountiful plushglass!

Babylard/Anna--I did that look you suggested--UBW inner eye, Style Snob over lid, and Glamour Check! in crease (didn't use carbon, thought Glamour did enough for me). LOVES it!!

I finaly got LTL today!
I love the Starflah finish!! I actually only bought S&D e/s and Molasses Pearlglide Liner. But I was in Copenhagen, Denmark today because Graphic Garden was released today too but wasn't coming to my counter, and I really wanted the brush set. Also I didn't wan't too spend too much money at one time, (I made my own quad to since we don't have refill eyeshadows or palettes in Sweden). But I'll probably go to my regular counter later to pick up Ego, Style Snob and Grand Entrance.

^casa, those are a great set of shadows you got there! i had wish i got top hat and go! it was around the time where i was sick and went MIA from specktra so it was a quick haul. my lovely bf brought me to the mac and i just quickly picked up a bunch without really thinking and that aws that! sunset b and lotusland are among my fav! with one off and unbasic white!
