I tried on Resolutely Red in-store today...loved it, but didn't get it. I like it a lot, it's a deep cherry-wine on me, but I'll wait until next week's collection drops and get it then.

Thanks Meryl. I was just getting on here to ask if anyone had tried High Def. I briefly saw it in my store tonight but didn't get a chance to swatch it and it was haunting me. I thought it was a neutral too and that it looked pretty nice. Now I'm glad I left my empties in the car! I thought Close to Real looked pretty hideous - who knows, maybe that one looks good on!

Ok I haven't been to Mom's yet ...But I saw this video and I have to have both Close to Real and High Def.....so I called and toild her I was stealing hers based off the vid and she said don't worry I bought two of each because I knew you would want them because the colors are neutrally great..yeahhhh for mommy!!!

Yeah, the lip swatches are way paler than irl. The Chanel glosses are def. more pigmented than they looked on her lips as did the MAC HD colors. I just picked up Chanel Waterlily, Venus, Mica, & Magnifique glosses - they are fabulous. Even though I am a very pale NW15, I have very pigmented lips & the Chanel glosses all show up great.
I want Jupiter - do you have that one? I'm trying to figure out if I can pull that red color off.

I have not taken pictures yet...But here is my take on the two lippies My mom got
Close to Real....Is a very pretty pale Nude....However it is a weird Lustre...Your lips have to be Butt smooth to get a nice finish...it is almost a dry frost IMO...Pretty color...Hate the texture...Would I buy, No...would I wear it...Not sure...it shows all the lines in my lips so much
High Def - Is a dark peachy pink on me ...It is a decent nude and has a great texture lots of color payoff, I think it is a AC so this makes it a great texture IMO ..it reminds me of if you mixed Brave New Bronze with Patisserie (sp) this is what their off spring would look like...Would I buy ...No...would I wear it, yes, Occassionally
