LOL @ butt smooth. My lips are hardly ever that smooth, plus they are quite large. I'm skipping this entire collection. My gut tells me to do so. I'm off to check out the Trend collection.

Yep! I agree completely.

But, I do like it as a base for pale pink/peach glosses. Also, I used CTR first then used High Def over it liked that look. But yeah, it has a different texture for sure. I can only use one light sheer appl. to wear it on its own.

oh, I do have butt soft lips right now

Tish, you look beyond stunning in your avatar picture! You're such a pretty lady.

The reviews are making it a bit harder to pass on these lippies, but I must stay strong! As nice as Close To Real and High Def sound, I'm really digging the dark lips for fall. Maybe I'll pick these up from my CCO when/if they get there.

I was going to buy resolutely red when I went to get the Trend stuff, but it seems this is the bastard collection of Mac. I didn't even notice it. It was not upfront and not a priority and that's why I forgot all about it at Nordies. Hell, when I went Monday to the actual Mac store to pic up a few shadows, I didn't see this up front. I must put a reminder in my phone to seek this out next time I go.

to anyone who has bought or seen resolutely red- how close does this compare to made with love? made with love is also pinky coral, so wondering if they r similar enuf to consider skipping

I have both and they don't compare all all. The Full Red Stop lippie (i think that's what it's called) from trend may be closer to MWL, but RR is a deep almost brown based red. no coral at all. hth.

i decided to skip this collection in the end. nothing stood out that much to me and even though 2 of the lippies look nice i don't actually want to spend money on them! if you get what i mean!

Close to Real is such a pretty nude lip color...didn't make me look like death. I have pinky nudes but this is that beige nude that i've been looking for. I hate that it's LE bc now I"m going to have to back it up.

Anyone know if this is close to anything else that's perm???

Warning: Resolutely Red is a scandalous lipstick!! It gets in your head and doesn't go away until you finally order the damn thing.

It jumped into my online cart this week without provocation. I was doing so well and I finally cracked.

Oh well, I can't wait to get it!

ETA: What is it about lipsticks that I can't resist?!? I had a dream a few days ago that included me rolling around in tubes of lipstick and lipgloss...what the hell?
