It was 105 here today! Ugh! I've been in hotter weather down in Florida but here--not that much prepared for intense heat. Actually was 1/2 to work and realized my kitties didn't have fresh water! My poor old SUV was trying to hard to keep up blasting the A/C but she's slowly dying. I have to buy a new SUV and don't want to think how that will cut into the beauty budget.

Anyways, back to this collection.

I really can't wait to see what Avenue looks like. I need to see swatches because if it doesn't beat the combo of my #1 and #11 MUFE Aqua creams, there's no need for me to get it. Prince Noir looks really close to Rebel so I'll probably skip that. Peachstock I'll skip as I can't do neutral lips.

That eggplant PRO matte lipstick is minez!!!!

I can't do neutral lips either. my top lip is brown and my bottom lip is on the pink red side, so neutral lips look weird to me. I am thinking about trying peachstock though. I can wear it sheered out a bit on my botton lip with clear lipglass on top. we'll see

Well that is really odd about Peachstock & Myth that its an either I can or cannot wear lipstick. The colors look so pretty in the tube. What a shame, but it helps to know that a lot of you can't wear them either. I was thinking there was something wrong with me :)

I think Peachstock is much more wearable than for example Myth. I could never wear Myth, but P is a bit darker and not so "concealerish". :) But nevertheless I can see why Peachstock wont work on everybody.

I can't wear Peachstock either. I tried it on earlier this year, but it looked horrid - too brown perhaps? (I'm NC20-ish) I don't normally do nude lips.

I'm going to try Peachstock on my lips right now since I have not done so yet.

EDIT://
I did a sheer application of Peachstock on the lips and put Super Kissable Lipcolour. It looks okay but needs a really good lipliner for Peachstock to make it work.

I think Sonia Kashuk has a similar dupe of the 226 in her brush line..surprisingly well constructed for a drugstore brand

I thought that I was going to melt. Dumb idea but can't let my pretty flowers wilt.
True. But one cannot let the elegance wilt either, gotta keep up that classy and fab Coco:)

i find that patting peachstock on my lips is a way of getting it to look nice. heavy application looks bad on me though.

i have the same issue with my lips and peachstock doesnt look that great on me. The only lipsticks that I can really do neutral lips without feeling self conscious are Hug Me, Freckletone, or Lust lipglass. I've now added Lush Amber from semi precious collection even thought its more sheer than the ones Ive alreaded mentioned. You should still def try peachstock though because maybe its the look your going for.

Yours looks quite different than mine. Mine is definitely more tapered and pointy like the 226. Then again thats what you get with a drug store brand, inconsistency with the quality of their products.

this vid, at 12:27 is what got me into thinking about peachstock in the first place. I remember it from GMLOL, but didn't really look at it.
