Same here!!! I need to make wiser choices. I'm thinking since I want the Bright Plum l/s from Cindy Sherman, maybe I'll skip Smoked Purple with this colleciton & if they ever re-promote it in the future (with a different formula maybe) I'll get it.

I do like Carbonized but have the naked pallete

The fluid lines look good on shades of you.


The quads, blushes and CCB's and Shadesticks, might all be a pass for me. I have to see them on me first.

Mythical looks pretty, might already have something similiar. I still love Outre, the l/glasses except for wee coquette and the l/s except for the perm ones and and the really light one.

Does anyone else think this might be a Bobbi Brown type of collection. Muted, soft, workable colors?

do it! dark lips look amazing on pale people! i almost wore dark purple lips today but realized it's still 'summer' and i should calm myself

i cant figure out if i dare to wear smoked purple or prince noir....

You guys are welcome for the swatches. It was no problem at all.
I can take my Naked palette with me tomorrow and compare Carbonized to Darkhorse if you want. I can also swatch the fluidlines too. If you need any other swatches, please let me know and I will try to remember to do them.

It's a wonderful, powerful look. I can't wait to get into my Fall lip colours again.

For those who are wondering about Smoked Purple:

1. Don't forget it's a Pro item, so it's always available. (You can order by phone if you aren't near a Pro store.)

2. I saw the new NARS collection today and the new Velvet Matte Lip Pencil they have included (which is becoming permanent) is exactly like Smoked Purple. It's more expensive, but the formula is smoother...

Personally, I think Potent Fig Mattene (deep blue grape) from Posh Paradise is going to totally horse-whip Smoked Purple out of Dodge City. I wouldn't be too surprised if Seeds of Desire (deep brown plum) beats out Prince Noir, as well.

Runaway Red, on the other hand.......

I'm not thrilled by the nail lacquers at all...I cam find cheaper dupes at the drugstore or already in my stash...*shrugs* money saved!

I was just thinking the same thing. Something was familiar so I just went through my stash and was thinking it looked similar to Cut to Fit and Brash from the Spiced Chocolate quad. But this was before I saw the last swatch posted so now I'm thinking Bold & Brazen, Mythology and French Cuff. Yes, I'm sorry to say I bought French Cuff even though my fellow Spectra-ites said not to buy it. Everyone was so right about the finish but I thought I could make it work. I just loved the color. Maybe this would be a good substitute.

Good points! I like the mattene formula more than the regular matte one, so I think I may hang on for those!

I must not look at nail polishes because OPI has sent me the entire texas collection (I won a price) and maybe will send me something else... So I don't feel the need of having a lot of nail polishes (saving for lipstiks!!!!!) but the nude one is cute, the green is not my style, the deep purple red is something easy to find in every company! anyway I could take the purple nail polish from Posh paradise... it never arrived in Italy but I loved temptalia' swatches *___*

Here are the swatches that I promised. SOrry that I didn't have any natural light pictures, I didn't make it home before sunset. Also, I apologize that these are not the best pictures but they are something, right? I am also sorry if I missed amy items that were requested. Oh and moleskin practically disappeared into my skintone...

I put a base under the Evil Eye Quad since the first swatches sucked but as you can see it still didn't help terribly much...

This year (but also last year) there are a lot of grey/green grey/ green brown/ muddy nail polishes... a lot of people like them but I really can't use them XD (as well as yellow nail polish....ghhhhh) gimme some coral, purples and pink muahahahah
