MAC Magnetic Nude Collection (December 26, 2013)

MAC taking too daggone long so I ordered from Nordstrom. Ain't nobody got TIME to be F5-ing all day, I gots things to do! LOL! Although I'd be surprised if this went up today since it's Christmas and all. I actually only ordered MA from Nordy's and I'm eyeing Superb, but I'm not entirely sure it'll work for me since I'm NC50 ish. I need more swatches brown girls! Help me decide, so when MAC finally puts it up I'll know whether or not to get that one too.

Right, a lot of areas these packages are going through have severe weather. Truth is, it's the company, not us that is out, they paid for overnight shipping on them, and they didn't get the customer service *they* expected from their carrier(UPS). So, yeah, if I had paid for overnight, then I'd be pretty mad. And most of us are probably still going to get our packages before MAC even sends their's out.

On my tracking it says "late airplane", then it says in a subsequent update "your package encountered a delay" plus more..

I work in the airline industry.. when there are weather factors that causes delays - it's really only mother natures fault.. It wouldn't be Nordstrom or even UPS' fault.. Mother nature can be a beast..

My only problem was the fact that it took Nordrom's 12 hours to get it to UPS, but they're busy as hell.. I get it. It still sucks, but then you think about some people are starving right now.. don't have heat.. aren't getting any presents / toys for Christmas... and your perspective changes..

Don't get me wrong - I am disappointed still.. but We've got 1st world problems..

Merry Christmas and happy hauling everyone. Please remember that the stores are opened exceptionally early tomorrow morning . I think Macy's will open at 6am and Nordies 8am. Not losing any sleep over this so hopefully no big executives came to visit and my stuff remains safe. So happy that PM does not seem to be as close to BGGG in the few swatches I have seen so far.

I tried sensual sparks last night. Well this morning (1am) i think its almost the nude ive been looking for. Im not really sure though because the lighting in my room odd so i was just going to try it when i woke up and see it in daylight. Im still in bed so ill post pics when i get up from here

So, I only got Sensual Sparks today, since I placed a last minute order, in the heat of the moment. The rest should be here Thursday. But Ahh! Sensual Sparks is my PERFECT nude! :yahoo: It is just gorgeous. And, for me, the Amplified finish is just right, too. No gloss needed. I lined with a little bit of NYX Nude Truffle but it's fine alone. I rarely back up lipsticks but I'm getting one. I was gonna skip but then @luvlydee said she was getting it, and her picks usually work on me, too. I'm usually a bold lip girl but I'm glad I took a chance on this.

Is it bad that I'm considering 2 backups, too? Lol I really try not to backup lipsticks, because I know there's always something new coming out, but I think I'll be set on nudes now. It's Christmas, right? Then I can go into the new year being super selective.
