I get the feeling that people don't comment on blush because they either are so used to seeing women wear it, it doesn't occur to them that makeup is being worn or because blush is usually one thing that's done pretty subtly to enhance and people don't feel right about saying "oh, I like that color you slathered on to not look like dead meat".
I have been told with some blushes "you look really healthy today" or the like, and figured it was definitely the blush - they just didn't realize it was! I'm pretty sure Love Cloud was the last one I heard that about.
Do any of you out there get people asking what blush you are wearing? Just curious. I guess I am looking for that perfect blush color; that someone ... at least one time ... will ask me what I am wearing. It has never happened. Maybe someone once in a while ask me what eyeshadow I am wearing. The thing I get asked the most, is what lipstick I am wearing. I love my lipsticks/glosses like there is no tomorrow, but it would be nice for a blush to be recognized. I only started wearing blush this year, the first time I wore it my boss asked if I was ok, he thought I had sunburn. lol. Not the look I was going for. So, I keep trying different ones that work for me. BGGG is my favorite blush, I seem to always get complimented when I wear it. It gives me the natural flush of color I like.Oh, my.

Thanks for the swatches. Definitely want this now.here are the swatches of Sensual Sparks that I quickly took. This sort of reminds me of Siss but Siss is more chalky looking on me and from what I remember Siss has more yellow in it. With Sensual Sparks I need to wear a liner though because i feel like the definition of my lips get lost with this color. Which is good because thats the nude I always wanted lol. This is the type of nude rihanna should have came out with for her last collection. And also Sensual Sparks + Hug me = a nice glossy pinky nude

Well true, Pillow talk is Brown. on me that lipstick (SS) was kinda leaning brown and sorta yellow? if that makes sense. but i liked it anyways. what it looked like on you is how Pillow talk looks like on me. i just like nudes that are fleshtone so both of those are kinda in that category for me lol

I'm a blush whore. I LOVE blush! I like it a bit heavier on myself (i dunno if you can tell in my pics?). But i always wear blush to complement the rest of my makeup. So, if I'm wearing earthtone shades for eyes and lips (browns, golds, greens), I'm gonna wear more of a peachy cheek. If I'm wearing more of a pinky, purple, blue eye, I'll do a pinky/plummy cheek with a pinky nude lip. If I'm doing more of a tropically eye (brighter green, yellow, orange, corals), I'll do a coral cheek with a soft coral lip. And if a do a natural eye with a winged liner and red lip, I'll do a neutral cheek like blushbaby, TPC, prism, cupic, etc. i always coordinate all my makeup. I don't pay attention to warm vs cool and all that stuff. Ever. And i ALWAYS wear a cheek highlight to draw attention to my cheekbones, unless of course I'm wearing a shimmery blush already. But i mostly stick to matte or satin blushes so that i can wear a highlight in addition to it.So, since you get asked all the time what blush you wear, I want to know your secret .... please ... pretty please, with sugar on top!
