Weird! I would've thought that they'd have a VM, as most do. Are they outdoors or in a mall? If they're in a mall call the mall and see what time their VM says they open. They should open at the same time as the mall. :wink:

I'm a blush whore. I LOVE blush! I like it a bit heavier on myself (i dunno if you can tell in my pics?). But i always wear blush to complement the rest of my makeup. So, if I'm wearing earthtone shades for eyes and lips (browns, golds, greens), I'm gonna wear more of a peachy cheek. If I'm wearing more of a pinky, purple, blue eye, I'll do a pinky/plummy cheek with a pinky nude lip. If I'm doing more of a tropically eye (brighter green, yellow, orange, corals), I'll do a coral cheek with a soft coral lip. And if a do a natural eye with a winged liner and red lip, I'll do a neutral cheek like blushbaby, TPC, prism, cupic, etc. i always coordinate all my makeup. I don't pay attention to warm vs cool and all that stuff. Ever. And i ALWAYS wear a cheek highlight to draw attention to my cheekbones, unless of course I'm wearing a shimmery blush already. But i mostly stick to matte or satin blushes so that i can wear a highlight in addition to it.

You dont even realize what you have done to me now! Im still so new to makeup so lipstick has been the only thing so far that Ive been playing with. I have been wanting to try blush and eyeshadow next but had no clue where to start. What you wrote just gave me some motivation to try now. But I think what Ill do is buy a blush and eyeshadow palette from BH cosmetics to play around in. Once I get a feel of what I like then Ill invest in blushes and eyeshadows from MAC. I envy all you women who just know what kind of makeup looks good on you and how to put them on.

Hahahaha I'm gonna be at macys at 6! I'm pulling an all nighter tonight, so I'm just gonna do my makeup nice and early (the works!) and head on out bright and early!

Glad to have helped! I've been doing it for years, so it comes naturally for me. But if you don't do shadow at all (or atleast a skintone shade, it'll be even easier! Just coordinate your lips and cheeks and you're all set! Have fun playing!

I am hoping that this collection will drop tonight (maybe around midnight) or early tomorrow. I have to be at work at 11:00, which means I will be heading off to work by !0:10 at the very latest. Since the mall (freestanding MAC) should be open by either 9:00 or 10:00, I would think the online launch should be on or before then, don't you think? I would go to the store, but it really makes it much more time-consuming than necessary. I work at the mall (but on opposite sides) as the MAC store is. Tomorrow is going to be a nightmare. It takes me 3-4 times as long to get to work than it regularly does, due to the high traffic (even getting off the freeway exit ramp), offsite parking, taking a shuttle bus then over to the mall, getting through all the people inside the mall, just to get to my store. Then I'll have to wiggle myself through my tight store to the back room which is the size of a postage stamp. Everyone can barely move around, trying to get hang their coat up on an overloaded coat rack, get their stuff in the locker and small refrigerator. Then trying to squeeze behind and between the cashiers with a huge line of customers in front of them, to squeeze in and punch in on the register before it strikes 11:00. That is why I only want to shop online!

here are the swatches of Sensual Sparks that I quickly took. This sort of reminds me of Siss but Siss is more chalky looking on me and from what I remember Siss has more yellow in it. With Sensual Sparks I need to wear a liner though because i feel like the definition of my lips get lost with this color. Which is good because thats the nude I always wanted lol. This is the type of nude rihanna should have came out with for her last collection.
And also Sensual Sparks + Hug me = a nice glossy pinky nude

Sorry i dont own delectable but from pictures delectable seems like it has a peachy-orange tint to it. SS is more beigy

Ever since you mentioned that sometimes gals don't wear enough blush & look washed out dead, I've been beefing up the color a bit. Great suggestion. I'm loving more color & I don't even look like I should be wearing big shoes & carrying balloons

:lmao: My blush is the second to last thing i put on makeup-wise, lips being the last. It really makes all the difference. And if you go a little overboard, just take your foundation or powder brush and just buff it down a little bit. I even go into my bathroom and check out my blush, even apply some of it in there, using the different lighting. I apply it in my bedroom, using the natural and unnatural light and then check it out in the bathroom and see what the different lighting (no windows) does to the appearance of my application. Because no one is in just one kind of lighting all day, every day, so you wanna see how all of your makeup looks in all kinds of lighting, and blush can make or break your entire look.

I JUST recently started getting into blush. I'm an NC 40 and I would really appreciate it some recommendations. I wear 99% of time neutrals only with bold lips or nuded out, regular pinks, etc lip colors. I got Superb from this collection and a NARS blush in the color Torrid. I think peachy/orange/coral blushes would look on me right? I really hope so.

This made me laugh out loud. I have to be more conservative for work, but I try to add a bit more color when going out.
