So I tried this kit out today. The cream products are easy to work with and not patchy, and the powder is also nicely blendable.
I used Rhea as a blush, and at first I thought I went a little too heavy with it, but I could sheer it out nicely that it didn't look overdone. I own 3 other cream color bases from MAC (all 3 from the Chris Chang collab), and I think Rhea is by far the best as quality goes. It was easy to pick up with a brush, and my initial thought was: wow, it blends out really nicely and smooth! This is by far the best product in this face kit.
I tried to use Gypsum as a highlight, but with moderate success. The good thing is that it also blends nicely and doesn't look patchy. The only cream highlighters I had so far are the ones in the Sleek precious metals palette, but oh my those are a pain to work with! I prefer to use a bursh, but the only way I can make those look somewhat decent is if I use my fingers and pat them on really gently. So compared to those Gypsum works like a dream, is easy to pick up with a brush and is easily blendable on the face. But the down side is that it looks almost like nothing. If someone likes a really natural sheen it can be an okay product. I used 3 layers I think and then it started to show a little more, but it's definitely not a BAM! type of highlighter. Also, it's just a tad bit more glittery than I would prefer, but I can live with that. I think the purpose of this product is to give some colorless and natural shine. What I mean is like most highlighters have some color to them - rosy, gold, icy etc... - as well, but Gypsum doesn't really. So in this sense it's somewhat of a unique product, but highlighter-aholics probably won't appreciate it much.
And for the bronzer - oh yes it's quitey orangey! I was a little afraid to try this one, because I was using it for my work makeup in the morning, but it looked surprisingly decent. It's definitely not going to be an everyday product for me though. Also, they go really well together with Rhea.
So overall, I think I can say I like this face kit, but would only recommend for someone who likes a warm makeup look, and is not too crazy about highlighter. Although they can still use another one instead of Gypsum, but then, it will be a kind of pointless product in the kit (guess it could still be used for a glossy lid effect or lip gloss? but then there are other, more suitable products for that).
