Damnit I had to buy the Tarte brushes but I did cross 3 Mac lipsticks off my list. That makes up for it right?
Yes it does, those brushes look cute.
That comment came out of nowhere, lol. Seeing Temptalia's swatches reduced my list from 5 lipsticks to 1, 2, or skip. That blue one looks like a disappointment but the green one looks so derelict that I kinda want it for that. Pale Rose and Devotional look similar but nice. Cold Front and Metal Head look like UD's Asphyxia and Oil Slick from the vintage collection.

I noticed it said $32 in the swatch gallery too. I thought to myself: OK, now MAC lost their damn mind with the price increases, lol.

I would've jumped ship and went higher end, if that was the case. We've just had a £1 price increase on regular lipsticks and LE tubes have gone down by 50p, so we're paying the same flat rate on lipsticks. Have not fixed any other price increases on the site or in store... Tells you how much I buy thing in store, if I don't notice a price increase.

Dropped hades fire, added cold front. I'm at 3 now. They're not as opaque as I think a metallic should be. I don't see how most of them are different from regular frost lipsticks. Hades fire isn't opaque enough for the color to me + I have Caliente which I think is close enough.

The video says March 30. I hope I don't have to wait another week for these. Her swatches for the lighter colors seem a bit suspect to me too. It's like her lips were still stained from previous colors when she swatches them. I know Temptalia puts hers under a spotlight but at least you can tell her lips are completely bare and "washed" before each swatch. I try not to buy lipsticks where I need to put together a whole recipe of products to make them look decent. I should just scrape Bianca B out of that cute bullet and replace it with a color I can just wear straight.

They're up on the MAC site. Is anyone placing an order besides me? I decided on only two Cold Front and Foiled Rose for now. I want to wait and see swatches from my fellow Specktrettes on the other lippies. Happy ordering!

I got Foiled Rose, Disobedient, Jupiter and Cold Front. I just hope the Fruity Juicy collection doesn't come out too soon. I'll pick up more metallics if they make it to goodbyes.
