MAC Metallic Lips (March 23, 2017)

I went to my MAC store at Union Square to check out the metallic lips. They didn't have all of them. They had the two I ordered, Foiled Rose and Cold Front which swatched beautifully. I also looked at a few of the others (sorry I can't remember the names right now) all seemed to swatch rather nice on my skin and I didn't find them too sheer. Of course, on the lips it may be different.

They're up on the MAC site. Is anyone placing an order besides me? I decided on only two Cold Front and Foiled Rose for now. I want to wait and see swatches from my fellow Specktrettes on the other lippies. Happy ordering!

I checked this morning and didn't see it but I did see the glosses. It just occurred to me that they might be mixed in with the regular lipsticks. I like more of them than I thought I would but don't want to go crazy now. Debating an order.

Ok, so I am not into Metallic anything, BUT...did you guys see the Mac video? She uses Midas on the eyelids & Jupiter patted onto the high cheekbones. It looks soooo pretty. I might get those now.

I Just ordered Hades Fire, Jupiter, Disobedient, Act So Cool and Pale Rose. I watched Camie Crawford's youtube video and that gave me a great idea how each shade would look on WOC. I also got the Dirty Dark Martini lipglass. I used my Select 15% discount, so it didn't hurt too bad to buy all of those.

It's pathetic right I'm not sure how they're going to look on me, but they looked really pretty in the video lol BTW, Rose is gorgeous. I may need that one too

I bought Devotional, Pale Rose and Silver Spoon (as a topper) today... Pale Rose is so beautiful. On me, these lipsticks aren't metallic in the traditional sense... they're more shimmery, but it's a muted shimmer. I am loving them and will probably get more! (after swearing off lip products - hangs head in shame)

Devotional is gorgeous!! I haven't tried it on my lips yet, just a hand swatch, but it's a lovely mauve-y colour, but not too warm or brown, definitely cooler toned. These shades are hard to describe since they're quite unique and complex! You will love Pale Rose!
