You bought the same one as me!
Had to use three coats for Dry Martini, still didn't wear the others.
I'm still thinking to get Cool Reserve as well.

I bought 4 of these today!

Dry Martini, For Fun, Beyond Jealous, and that red one (forgot the name).

I will skip this collection too. Not only because I am on a no-buy but these nailpolishes don't do much for me. Some are very pretty but I have many pretty nailpolishes now from my favourite brands and they always will bring out new colors. If there is not already a dupe out there for every color the chances are high that at some point there will be.

Plus the perfect Team-No reason for Dry Martini is:

Dry Martini actually looked flattering against my skin tone when I tried it on at the counter. Cool Reserve, on the other hand, was sooo similar to my skin tone (I think it's got to do with the undertones) that it didn't look good at all.

LOL... I read that. To be honest, I think it's a little unfair. It is a strange nail polish colour, in fairness, but to me it's like Smoke and Diamonds eye shadow. It's sort of brown, sort of grey, sort of green.

I thought initially of getting dry martini, cool reserve and beyond jealous as well but since I own dark room and nubar twilight kiss, that leaves me only with dry martini I guess!

Sometimes, if I'm not quite paying attention to my hands, I find the colour reminds me of a river rock that's somewhere between mossy and muddy.

LOL! "Oh, the taupey brownness of it all!" needs to replace "Oh, the humanity" in our cultural lexicon, I think...at least for those who know the pain of taupey brownness ruining a formerly promising polish. This isn't the first time for me, at least (I'm looking at you, You Don't Know Jacques.)

BTW, I've been digging Polish or Perish since I discovered it a few weeks back, so kudos. I'm a grad students with a polish habit too!

this collection is not for an old bag like me. I am daring enough to wear dark blood red, brown and black, even some greys like Opi Metro Chic.. but that's where I draw the line

I find the cream polishes by MAC are usually better than the shimmer ones, for some reason. But then I don't really have so much problems with MAC polish altogether. From this collection I might get Cool Reserve and Beyond Jealous.

These MAC polishes are my first proper "branded" polishes I've ever owned. Normally I buy the cheap ones from the drugstore which chip within a day or two and these MAC ones that I've bought today are just amazing! They go on so well, and they just feel really different on!

Anyways! I swatched Cool Reserve, Rich Dark Delicious (the dark brown one?), Dance All Night, For Fun and Dry Martini and came home with Cool Reserve, Dance All Night and For Fun. I've got For Fun on now and it's such a gorgeous colour!

Am very happy!

i got beyond jealous and for fun. i really thought beyond jealous was going to be this gorgeous dark teal color by looking at the swatches, but its just a plain ole black on me. there is a light sheen of dark green, but mainly black. im kinda disappointed. havent tried for fun yet.

I got Dance all Night and Beyond Jealous. I decided I didn't need Cool Reserve since I'm expecting Misa's Fashionista which is also a cool mauve/lavender colour. Dance all Night is really nice, warm and autumn-y. I am planning on wearing it to a fall wedding I'm attending in October.
