In our Chai shops you can buy Black Indian tea. Not my fault it's named that way.

No I'm not saying it's your fault that it's named that way. I meant that if an Indian was described as "black" (because of the skin color), that could be pretty offensive and racist... Hence the name of the drink, "Black Indian" borders on racism. Makes sense?
I was just pointing it out in a lighthearted sense, that's why I was laughing in my original post... Sorry, living in a multi-racial society has trained my antenna to pick up these signals very easily.
I definitely wasn't insulting anyone though.

You guys are hilarious. I definitely didn't mean this. I wear black all the time too. Bunny, I'm sure you put in a lot of time and effort to type out all the colors and clothes that you're wearing.

I mean seriously, you have types of tea, and one is black tea. That's not racism Winnie.

No the word "black" itself isn't, of course. It's the context of the word, and how it's used...

Black Indian as a tea name just propally means that it's indian originated black tea or something of that sorts. Finding that racist it just silly.

That makes sense. Black tea from India.
I think the oral sex restriction has been lifted though.
And no, I was not offended by the name of the drink. It was just a comment, made in the context of the culture I grew up in. I mean, I'm sure you have your blonde jokes and what not... For my country, the butt of jokes are usually about the different ethnicities and the government.
Talking about jokes, I think Russell Peters is a damn good stand up comic for racist jokes. Love him to bits!
