I do realize that she isn't obligated to take pics for us but I only mentioned it because it would give us all a better idea of what the shadows actually look like. Perhaps over a paintpot? It was just a suggestion to her. It was never my intention to be rude. I have never been rude to anyone and I will not start now. If I offended anyone, I do apologize.

And for your kind information, I have contributed to this site in many areas. Thanks.

Wow....girls, take it easy!! I just wanted to share the things I got....that's all! And agree with Lara that I'm not obliged to take this pictures, right??

If someone wants to see the swatches in another way/lighting/manner....whatever....you can ask me, no problem!

Today I did a review about the collection and placed in on Youtube, maybe this is helpfull....

Thank you SO much for these videos!! They are fabulous! Oh my, my wishlist has gone back up again. After seeing the comparisons of the pigments to others, I think I will be getting Mutiny and Bell Bottom Blue! From the description, Lark About sounds a bit like Vellum Eyeshadow! I am so anxious to see this collection and do some haulin'!

I think I've changed my mind about "Lark About" pigment.
I don't need a "sheer blue white" anything.
"Illegal Cargo" eyeshadow looks pretty good, though, and "Port Red" lipstick is still in the running ...

Other than the ones in the swatch thread ( http://specktra.net/f217/mac-naught-...ay-08-a-93825/ ), you can see in the videos above. Tinkerbelle2001 compared Bell Bottom Blue to Naval Blue and Blue Storm

I didn't think I wanted anything from this collection (all the eyeshadow shades I wanted turned out to be matte, and I'm just not a matte girl!), but after seeing the swatches (Thank you so much, Tinkerbelle2001!!) I really want Love Knot! The blue reflect looks wooooonderful! Also, if I can find someone to split a pot of Lovely Lily with me, I will be a happy camper!

First of all, I want to say that I apologize if I did come off as rude but that wasn't the intention. I wouldn't say thank you if I didn't mean it. I am glad you can take out the time and do what you do. I guess I should have just asked you personally for a swatch of the shadows. And yes the vids are indeed helpful thank you for doing this!

thank you sooo much for the videos. my jaw dropped when i saw the mutiny pigment. sooo pretty!

and now i'm wondering how bell bottom blue compares to the blue pigment.

Ok girls, I know it's early, but what from this collection do you think will be the first to sell out? I am going to try to only allow myself 4 things from this collection to start off. Usually, I impulse buy, and if I only allow myself 4 things, I force myself to be choosy. I know I can always go back for more, but in most cases, I don't make a second trip and can live without the things I would normally purchase on a whim. So, I'm wondering, what do you think will be the first to go?

I am trying to narrow my list!

Well, it probably depends on the location...I doubt that pigments are a big seller at my counter, so I'd say Ensign l/g and Party Mate l/s. After seeing Tinkerbelle's video, I'm leaning toward getting Mutiny and Bell Bottom pigments, all the l/s and Ensign l/g. I may get Illegal Cargo, but I have a sneaking suspicion that it looks a lot like Clue e/s or Mauvement p/g - both of which I have. We'll see...I always change my mind once I see the stuff in person.

I found the swatch thread; thanks!
In some photos, "Lark About" pigment looks a little gray, which I would love, but I'm still nervous about it being too blue.
I guess I'll just have to wait and see ...
It's astounding to me that just a few years ago, I was completely oblivious to MAC LE collections. Honestly. They came and went without me. I'd go to the MAC site, see the images from the current collections, and think, "Um, I'm not interested in that," and shop only the permanent items.
I still managed to regularly blow my budget, though.

The first collection I can remember really getting fascinated with was "Untamed."
After "Barbie," I was a complete collection parasite, living from one release date to the next.
It's fun, but sort of pathetic.

I notice that the lipsticks in many of the MAC stores I visit sell out first. In my experience I don't see pigments selling out very quickly so I'd jump on the lippies first if you want them. Ohh I'm definitely gettin that Port Red lipstick- it looks gorgeous.

I am so glad I saw that wonderful YuTube presentation posted here. I have now changed my mind! I don't think I need Lovely Lily as I don't do many lilac looks anymore anyway. I over did that one over the years. But I must have Bell Bottom Blue and Mutiny. Blues work for me and I think I am going to enjoy these! I think I am skipping the lipstuff entirely unless Port is more in the neutral zone. Reds are funny b/c you have to see them in person to know. In the tube, it is impossible to judge.

Haha me too!! It's so much lighter than it was showing up as in the swatches. I am so excited to get them, just a few more weeks now!
