i do think that the orange is gonna be different in person. i think it'll be brighter.

that's exactly what i was getting at. the color in the picture is off. judging from the color description of the other colors, the lipglass has to be pink grapefruit, but we know pink grapefruit is a bright orangy pink with gold pearl, nothing like the cream plummy pinky color in the picture.

Thanks so much for posting those pics!! You've reinstalled a little hope back in my heart that I'll love this collection. Three different colors of packaging would be gorgeous and unique. Fingers crossed!

Oh, and I'd like to add that I agree that packaging is really important. Make-up is about LOOKS, and if the packaging clashes with the product inside, it gives a terrible first impression. If I find a must have color, then I'll buy it even if it's wrapped in cardboard, but I'd much rather have an eyeshadow with fantastic packaging that I'm excited about. What's Specktra for if not ranting and raving?

I hate the packaging but I hate the colours more. It is really boring for a collection. I have seen it before.

Gosh for the first time ever, I am so confused on what collection is what and when they are all coming out. So this 3 part gimmick is really one collection? The unattractive orange bullet lippies? Or are they all different collections?

I know Naughty Nauticals will be coming out May 1st but what about this collection?

And I say we're all spoiled because we get such an early peek at the collections so we can make our lists beforehand, regardless of what the packaging is. I stand by my "spoiled" statement...there's no need to be snarky.

And I'm over here laughing, because no one has actually seen the colors or the packaging in real life here yet. Seriously, with MAC I've learned to reserve judgment until I actually see the product and play with it. I thought Heatherette packaging looked silly from promo images and it's turned out to be one of my favorite collections from MAC. I also know product finish is as important as color. So I'm still looking forward to this collection until I've seen something to convince otherwise. Certainly more than promoshots, which are notoriously off in terms of actual products.

It's one collection, but it has three different parts.
I believe it's coming out May-June. (not sure about that part)

I probably sound dumb, but are the eyeshadows part of Neo Sci Fi, or part of one of the other two parts? I just find it strange that the eyeshadows wouldn't be in the pictures too if they're part of NSF. I wasn't a MAC addict around the time of Lure, Moonbathe, etc, so I'm a little dense.

I wonder what could be in the other two parts if the eyeshadows ARE included in Neo Sci Fi. I'm so curious..

this is three separate collections that tie into each other. just like lure, bait, hooked a couple years ago. all three parts launch on may 29th.

Okay now I can finally give my input on this since I've seen pictures.

I dont really like the color orange but this is cute. Its different and fun and bright. Damn people give it a shot lol.

And I have to agree-everyone hated the Heatherette packaging and no one can argue about what a great collection that turned out to be. You can't really go by the pictures....and i think it is absolutely ridiculous to not even want to see swatches or try the products out just because they are in orange packaging. Come on now....

Anyways I can't WAIT to see swatches....I like bright colors at times but not for my lips. I'm waiting to see how the lips will look...they look like they could be too dark for me but they also could be just what I like. The lipglasses are gorgeous.

And I definetly understand what everyone means about the orange clashing with the makeup colors...but all u have to do is focus on the color. I looked at the actual product and not the orange package and it looks appealing to me. MAC won't always come out with something that everyone likes but I do agree that we can get spoiled and picky. Lets be open-minded people...its makeup!

I agree that this seems more for warm toned ppl, and naughty nauticals is more cool colors. Im not big on blues....we'll see
