Here are the shade descriptions:

Golden: Muted golden tan-beige with golden shimmer

Refined Golden: Finely spun golden with soft pearl finish

I used Golden before Refined Golden, for me both shades are very similar. Golden is more a matte one, while Refined Golden has that "sparkles" as I said in a post before. I prefer Refined Golden.

You guys are such lemming creators, lol. How does Refined Golden compare to Warmed MSF?

MSF Warmed is a bit darker than Refined Golden (don't think that I own everything from MAC
winks.gif
but I've got Warmed, too).

I apply the bronzers with a bigger brush like the 129 for a soft finish and the MSF with the 187 or 188 to get a more "shiny" finish. I love to "polish" the MSFs on my face. Hope you know what I mean.

they actually start out as the same color. refined golden is jet milled more than golden, giving it more shimmer and making the color more intense.

Erine, have you seen the bronzers when the packaging is closed? What do they look like?

we didn't get to see any of the orange packaging. everything was in the regular black
ssad.gif
but we were told its hot orange, not pumpkin orange.

Hot orange sounds a lot more appealing! In the promo pics (which I know are never accurate) it looked pumpkin orange. That is really good news!

I'm sure it just looks like the normal black packaging for powders and bronzers, except the writing will be black on orange, rather than white on black

sure!

someone had mentioned awhile back that they hope they are a powder form of metal-x and...............they are
yahoo.gif
i loved the finish of metal-x, but despised the formula!

they are loose like a pigment, but the particles are chunky (a different kind of chunky than the chunky pigments. the particles are bigger than regular pigments, but not flaky like chunky pigments. does that make sense? kinda hard to explain). they are VERY shiny and sparkley. not glittery, and by glittery i mean glittery like pro glitters. working for mac you tend to differentiate between shiny, shimmery, sparkley, and glittery, so sorry if this confuses people.

even tho they are a powder, they are a creamy powder. they are very smooth in texture, not gritty at, even with the sparkles. the color is intense like vp shadows, but the sparkles show up really well. you can use them anywhere on the face (not the lips
nonono.gif
) and is approved for contact wearers.

does that answer your questions?
