i think im going to get all four of the solar bits and sunsonic l/s. the shadows seem like they can be duped easily and i do have similar colors as it is but i will have to see the collection in person because i might change my mind.

Yes, I tend to agree. The only shadow I'm really looking at is Evening Aura and maybe Femme-Fi. I have a sneaking suspicion that Femme-Fi is going to be close enough to other pale neutrals that I'll just pass on it in favor of Solar White from the Cool Heat collection. I really need to be a spendthrift with this one as Cool Heat and Color Forms have a bunch of stuff that I really want and seem much more unique.

IMO, it really doesn't compare to any other pinks, because well, it's not really "pink." It has a golden peachy duochrome.

It was my very first MAC shadow and I love it. It shows more peachy on me than pink. I can't wear pink on my eyes really, and I love this one. It really is special and unique. I am axious to get a few of the other shadows with this collection because I think they will go great with Expensive Pink

I usually classify this one as a neutral. It is very wearable and goes with nearly everything. I can wear it with pink lips/cheeks and coral or peach lips/cheeks and it looks very nice with both. You will love it!

None that I know of. Its very light pinky, coppery, peachy. Very reflective & long wearing - almost like stains the skin if that makes sense.

Oh man we are all enablers of each other aren't we? Audrey you have me lemming Expensive Pink! (at least its perm and I can wait) Ive been wanting something peachy and I love pinks too--so I'm SOLD! Jeez I should take a pic of my collection now and after the summer to see how it will grow....it's going to be a doozy!

I took pictures of my collection (in the traincase forum) before I started selling off the stuff that I didn't use. At this rate, by summer's end, it will be the same size as it was before I sold anything

And you'll love Expensive Pink! It is beautiful!

i wish i did. i mentioned earlier in a forum (can't remember which one), but we were all allowed to take one product home with us after update, and by the time i was able to swatch stuff, people had already taken some of the solar bits, so i woulda only had one or two colors swatched in my book. and since i'm very ocd, it woulda bugged me not having all the colors swatched

Is expensive pink not like the interview/purple x mes duo? I always thought it was similar to the pink side, if it is different enough then I must buy it!!

Thank you!! Your descriptions sound awesome, that is what I am looking for. One of my favourite (not teal) e/s is Paradisco (soft bright pinky-coral with golden shimmer) - it sounds as if I can combine them, too!

And a peachy pink must look hot in that orange packaging!

Erine thanks soooo much for the swatches!!Summer collections are my fave!!
Since I hate red l/s and they also look awful on me ( I'm warm toned) maybe I should try this bright orange l/s instead, idk! lol

I'm a peach lover/whore, and I thought Spaced Out blush would be very similar to Peaches blush, now that I see that is a little lighter on the paper I'm little dissapointed, really how similar is to Peaches?
