i just hit submit. my order consisted of:

1 soft & slow l/g; and
2 volcanic ash exfoliators

= $70.62

total spent on this collection = $153.68

not bad considering i don't want much from the upcoming collections

i just did my makeup with the things that i got. everything looks so much better when applied to the face.

for my eyes i did a simple look w/ magnetic fields in the crease, evening aura on the lids and naked lunch as a highlight. omg. evening aura is beautiful. its a great smooth, creamy, pearlized peach

. magnetic fields makes for an awesome crease color and blends well with/compliments evening aura. i can also see it being used on the lid and banging in out w/ say carbon in the crease for a dramatic smokey eye.

for my lips i used pleasureseeker topped w/ sock hop l/g=love. pleasureseeker is the boss. it's a lovely color. everyone should go out and get it (though i'm sure everyone already plans to/already has...).

I will do swatches of them later today in the swatch forum as well. They are way too similar to the ones in this collection so I think I will save my money for Cool Heat.

The names are (L-R):
Top Row: Meow, Pussycat, Cat Woman (Pussycat Eyes Collection)
Bottom Row: Wildcat, Panther, Tiger's Eye (Animal Instincts Collection)

And they are Bare Mineral Shadows and super gorgeous! hth!

That's exactly what i did today! I went to MAC at the Bay only to find out that this collection won't actually launch at the counter till next Thursday

But i ended up getting a dress and a sweater (i'm not even a dress girl, but this baby covered everything that needed covering and made the girls look bigger than normal, hehe). Okay, back to topic. sooo, i guess i'll be ordering a few things online! I'm thinking Femme Fi, Time & Space, X Rocks and Sunsonic l/s. The other two items I was sort of interested in I'll need to see in person though.

Hubby took one look at them & said, "orange you glad you got 'em"

Pleasureseeker...yes!...actually showed up on my lips..very pretty & sock hop looks pretty over it. I'm not sure that i would've liked it any darker orange on me.

I thought Magnetic Fields would've been a littttllle darker on, but I still really liked it.

Liked Evening Aura...so pretty

Femme Fi - I loved this...I was trying to match a Mally Beauty eye brightener wand color which I use in the corner lid & under my eye....it matches perfect. The texture is divine!

For the bad news:
Spaced Out looked nice on my arm...but NOT on my cheeks...turned bad orange - just like Audrey said it did on her.

Time & Space - pretty on the back of my hand - not on my eye lids

it was just flat & did nothing to enhance my eyes...I was surprised...bummer

A bad orange??? What's your coloring? Have you also try other peachy blushes from Mac? I wonder how it compares with them

Yes, I have MAC Peaches blush - Gorgeous & Joyous, Fafi Hipness, Peechykeen & prolly a gazzilion others....all pretty...none turned this...'bad makeup orange' on me. I could see the duochrome, but up close...a no go color for me

I am thinking of getting all the e/s except for Expensive Pink. I need help to see if there are any dupes for the other four. I really don't need them and want to narrow down my list but they look so pretty.

Also, which blush should i get... Spaced Out or X Rocks? I am NW20 and with both pink and yellow undertones. I can wear cool and warm. I read X Rocks is just too dark for lighter skin but Spaced Out is a bit orange. I love Peach and Coral blushes but not very dark.

I'm NW15-or-lighter with plenty of pink undertones and I, for one, am a fan of Spaced Out. X Rocks looked like it would be a lot harder to work for my skin tone (though, with a light hand, I believe it could be done). While it's true Spaced Out is a bit orange, I don't find it too bad unless it's really packed on.

So... my vote is for Spaced Out.
