Dangit, if I knew about Bloor I would've gone there. Less travelling! And I would've bumped into you. =) Granted, I haven't tried Magnetic Fields yet so I might not like it on my lids like elegant-one and Time & Space (sorry again that it didn't work out!).

I just realized I didn't check out the blushes at all! Maybe that's a good thing. And Phosphor seems to clash w/ my NC30 Asian skin so I'll pass on the polishes, unless it's supposed to clash with such a yellow, lol. The MA helping me was great, tho, I got a sample of each of the Solar Bits. I might still break down and get one but I'm seriously thinking of splitting instead... it's workable, right? Messy, but workable...

Oooh, and for those who are getting Electro, I thought it'd be such a scary orange but it seems so soft while being so bright. It actually looks quite wearable! It looks great on Krasevayadancer but then again, what doesn't? =P I was more convinced seeing it in person. Not sure if I'll be getting it tho b/c Hollywood Nights and Fun & Sexy have been adventurous buys already and I've hardly touched them.

Any thoughts on X-Rocks for nc25 skin? I generally do like plummy blush and can pull of Feeling BPB, but I'm wondering if x-rocks might look kinda ruddy?

I think this is exactly how the shades you've mentioned will show up on me as well. At least I know Pleasureseeker won't do anything for me. Don't be sad, it's not you, it's the glaze!

You are so right erine. Evening Aura is very different from Fab & Flashy. For the first time I remembered to take in a shadow that I wanted to see next to another. I took in Fab & Flashy and Barbie Magic Dust. I skipped on Femmi-Fi because it looked so much like Magic Dust in the pot and with Solar White coming out I didn't need it. I did buy Expensive Pink because I do not have it and it is very pretty. I skipped the other shadows as I have so may quite similar and looking forward to Cool Heat.

I did get Spaced Out blush. I'm NC15 and I went in without anything on my cheeks just to try this. The ma put it on me and I really loved it. I didn't think it showed up very orang on me and I tried to check it in different light throughout the day, just peachy. I just hope what happened with True Romantic doesn't happen, with TR it looked great in the store but when I used it I looked liked I had been smacked up side the face and I used my 188 lightly.

In lippies I got Pleasureseeker l/s, Sunsonic l/s, and Pink Grapefruit l/g, which I had not planned on getting any of the l/g but it was just too damn pretty. I didn't even try it on my lips, just my hand. I think it will be pretty over Sunsonic l/s.

They did have the VA exfoliator in but was trying not to get nagged too much by hubby. But I'm sure I will be back to get it and the lip exfoliator. Can't wait to play.

OK, now I'm seeing everyone loving the VA exfoliator. So now I'm really interested. How is it for super oily, acne prone skin (damn menopause)? I just looked on the site and saw that it was only $19. I thought it was much more because that is a nice size jar. I just started using Retin-A so is this going to be ok with it? I do use other exfoliators, right now I'm using Therapy Systems and it's $48 for a 4oz jar.

it works for all skin types, however, based on the fact that you are using retin-a, i'd check with your prescribing doc to see if they its ok.

Holy cow 66 pages is way too much for me to try and attempt to read lol but I wanted to add my 2 cents and say that the exfoliator is also amazing! I just submitted a review of it in the MAC skincare section of the forum - hopefully it will be approved and/or just put in the appropriate spot because I wasn't sure where to put it.

Anyway to sum up what I wrote in the review: I have combination skin (oily t-zone, dry cheeks) and I break out occasionally as well as having to deal with old acne scars. (I'm in my late 20's btw.) I loved this exfoliator stuff - I am considering going back tomorrow to buy 2 more jars as backups. The MA who showed this to me used a small bit on the back of my left hand to compare to my right hand (she applied it on, rubbed it for a few seconds, then wiped it off with charged water and a makeup wipe because there was no water/sinks lol) and holy cow, my left hand was so soft and smooth compared to my right - and my right hand wasn't even that "dry" to begin with but felt dry in comparison lol!

The only main difference I saw in applying to my face was that after I rinsed it off with warm water, I felt my face was a little warm and tingly (nothing serious) and went away quickly after applying my moisturizer. Anyway, amazing stuff - my face was super soft and smooth! I don't know if it will help improve the appearance of my acne scars but who knows

On the canadian website, the exfoliator says it is still available but when I try to order it tells me it is no longer available, very frustrating seeing as it hasn't been up for long!!An everybody is raving about it,ahhh!!!

I bought 2 jars of the exfoliator due to the rave reviews on this discussion. All I gotta say is that it is AWESOME! I tried it last night and it was some kind of amazing! I washed off all my makeup then patted dry. To keep my face moist I used my Charged Water then applied the VAE. I smoothed it on my entire face then scrubbed gently in circular motions then washed it off. The granules are pretty big but not too abrasive. I didn't experience the warming experience when I rinsed but when I patted dry, spritzed on more CW and added my moisturizer I could totally feel and see the difference in my skin. Definitely looked clearer and brighter! I may have to go back for more! Oh and you get a pretty big jar of this stuff for the price and you don't need a lot to cover your face. I only used the product that stuck to the cap and that was more than enough. I can't wait to try this on my body. MAC needs to make this perm!

My skin is really dry & sensitive. Especially to most face products with any kind of alcohol in it. I am also prone to get eczema on my face sometimes. Do you think the exfoliator can help me? would it be suitable for my type of skin??

I saw this thread just now and I have to say, I LOVE PLEASURESEEKER l/s!!!

I didn't realize it was a glaze until I received it as part of my last haul. It looks sooooooo good over Blankety or Myth l/s.
I honestly think it would look good on anyone, any skintone!

It just gives my lips this gorgeous pink/peach/golden sheen.
