I've never tried a MAC pigment before (yep, MAC pigment virgin lol)...I've wanted to many times, but always stayed strong. I keep going back to the swatch thread and drooling over Mega-Rich, Blonde's Gold, Antique Green, and Museum Bronze

I have a baaaaddd feeling I'm fixing to cave on these

I resisted for a while too----but now----I'd rather my piggies over a lot of other stuff ANY DAY!!!!! They are awesome---but beware---once you try them-you'll never turn back

Both of those have come full from the beginning...Mauvement is a re-promote but why they filled mega-Rich completley full and not the others is weird. Someone mentioned they got all colors filled to the top recently on-line so hopefully they have now started doing this. I'll find out in Tuesday when I get my next batch in...If they are all filled to the top I'll let everyone know

All the colors will be permanent on PRO store, except for Mega Rich.

I just opened my Copperbeam and it was only a little more than half full. I know they are filled by weight, but geez. I feel like I was given the tester or something. It's such a pretty color though!

In my opinion, they are quite different.
Blonde's Gold is actually what I was hoping Jardin Aires would be: a creamy-smooth, uniformly shimmery neutral beigey light gold.
On me(I'm NW15; brunette; jade green eyes) Jardin Aires was an unflattering peach. Fortunately, I bought only a sample, and have never used it.
On the other hand, I love Blonde's Gold; depending on what you wear it with, it can even take on cool, taupe-y tones, which for me is good.
BTW, my jar was full almost to the top.
I am trying to convince myself that this is still more than I will ever need, and that a backup is unnecessary.

But you all know how that goes!

Can anyone tell me how Blondes Gold looks in person? I was wondering if its more on the gold or white or tan side, oh and if it is very sparkly or more flat.

Thanks

I loveeeee shimmery/sparkly piggies. I am trying to decide if I want any. I have sumptious olive so do I need Vintage Gold? And I have bronze eyeshadow so do I need Musuem Bronze. I would hate to buy them if they are too close, but they look so lovely on the swatch thread

I think the colours are quite similar to some of the eyeshadows. Vintage gold was fairly similar to Mink & Sable, but maybe a touch more green (I loooove vintage gold) and Museum Bronze is kinda similar to some of the bronze-y browns, (tempting and Go come to mind). However, these are more shimmery, on my lids they almost have a foil-like quality to them. And they also have incredible lasting power over a good base. I used my Benefit Fy eye first and then the ArtDeco base and put these on top and they didn't crease at all over a 14 hour day. Nothing else that I have has that kind of staying power. Did I mention that i love vintage gold?!

how I love thee.

I swatched it at the counter today while I was paying for the Studio Talk class I'm taking next weekend. I wanted to grab it, but I'll just use my $50 credit from the class when I go.

It's so gorgeous. I really wish I wouldn't have bought Provence pgmt at the CCO last month.

Because I'm definitely getting BG and now I feel like they are pretty similar and I won't be using Provence as much because the texture isn't even close to BG...

You might find them quite different when you use it. Provence is much lighter and has a whitish base to it. BG is darker with a tan-gold base to it. They're different enough to warrant owning both in my opinion, however, I quite like Provence and might be in the minority on that one!

I was so excited when I first saw the Color Story for this Collection as I adore pigments but then as the time went by, I decided to get nothing

Oh well, at least they'll be in PRO stores if I change my mind.
