I live in hope for the day that MAC actually ever makes a red frost pigment..... I have them all and they all suck in the regard.

But on Mega Rich and Royal Flush not being the same ITA!!! Nothing alike

I saw a post of someone who said that she add a bit of primary yellow to bright fushia and it makes a pretty red. But I dont have allergic reaction from the non-safe eye piggies.. so maybe try it if its your case.

I, too, wish that MAC would come out with a frosty pigment in a true red.
Maybe sort of the color of the red half of the Mi'Lady Mineralize duo that came out with Antiquitease last year.
I wouldn't use it on my eyes, probably, but it would be gorgeous on the lips!

In the meantime, Fyrinnae makes the closest thing I've seen yet in their "Bite Me:"

For those of you who bought Blonde's Gold, was the pigment filled to near the top? I just got mine today and it doesnt look as full as my other pigments. I know that the pigments are filled by the weight. I just want to make sure that this is the correct amount before I go and bring it back.
Thanks ladies

Hi...I've gotten 5 jars of Blondes Gold now and none are full (I sell samples). Most of the pigments in this collection were made this way. If you look on the box you also see it says 4.3 g instead of the normal 7.5 g. Mega-Rich & Mauvement are the only one's that come full. Vintage gold I have noticed seems to be in between the 2. Hope that helps

So, I bought three Overrich pigments (Blonde's Gold, Antique Green, and Heritage Rouge)... B.G. and A.G. were filled up to the rim.. but tell me why my H.R. has only filled half way.

It felt like my heart dropped... I thought I might have gotten the display (no way possible) but at the same time, I'm happy. It's not like I'll be using those pigments a lot. but still, it saddens me that it's only filled up half way. :/

BUT I do LOVE the texture on these bad boys! Did I mention, I haven't had fallout on these pigments! yay!

you are lucky if your BG and AG are full. all of my 4.3g ones are half full (i managed to fit 2 jars of AG and 2 jars of HR into the same jar, so i'm not exagerating when i said half full). have you tried tapping on the bottom of the jar? some of them have been sitting up side down for a while, so they look full when you open it, but when you tap the bottom (or bang them on the table), you'll see that they are only 1/2 to 3/4 full

I have tapped them and they only went down a little bit, but overall they are pretty full. I'm just sad about my HR, I swear it is half way full.. ;/

it's ok though... I guess... haha... I just love the texture of these pigments! they are soooo blendable too!

just wondering, where did you buy your pigments? Nordstroms, Macys, Bloomingdales, MAC freestadning/Pro Stores, or online?

I am in love, they are gorgeous!

My jars were only a little over half full. I was thinking it was the kind of pigment, my bell-bottom blue is the same. I thought it might me the metallic finish????

My jar of Blonde's Gold was about three-quarters full when I first opened it, and from what I've heard, that is very typical for this pigment.
I'm not especially bothered by this, since I still got a large amount, more than I will likely ever use.
I figure if I *do* use it all, that's another empty for Back2MAC!
And, since this pigment is permanent at the Pro stores, I can always get another jar if I need to!

Finally got my pigments! Gorgeous, just as I predicted. I got all except Mega Rich and Vintage Gold. I am drooling over Antique Green! Blonde's Gold reminds me of Jardin Aire's or Dazzleray but muuuuuch better texture of course. Museum Bronze reminds me of Cocomotion but I haven't compared the two yet.

I cannot wait to use these! Are there are face charts floating around??? I'd love some inspiration.

Anyways my least full pigment would be Copperbeam then Heritage Rouge.

Looove them!

Someone got lucky. Both my BG and AG are the fuller of my bunch but still not to the rim. Honestly I'm not bothered about it.
