MAC - Overrich Discussion

I haven't bought any of these (CoC sucked me dry), but I'm really bothered by the inconsistency of the amount reported to be in jars. If one's going to be half-full, all the jars of that colour should be. It really deters me, honestly, and makes me wonder what the hell is going on.

I know. It's weird. I keep going back to check and see if I'm crazy, but they are full, full, full.....

I think I'm obsessed with Blonde's Gold. I got a hefty sample (at least 1/2-3/4 tsp) when I bought my CoC haul & I've already used most of it. I've been using it EVERYDAY because it is so creamy & dreamy & goes with EVERYTHING. I ordered a full jar online that I should be getting today... I hope I get lucky like you, rbella, & get a mostly full jar! I can definitely see myself breezing through this thing...

So, I've had my blondes gold for about 2 weeks now & this whole time I thought I had a "pretty full" jar. Then I did the little tapping trick & BOO it's literally half full. I'm so disappointed:[

So what's the word on the street with these becoming permanent? I was holding off on buying a couple of colours, but I will get them soon if they aren't becoming permanent, as was previously suggested. So confusing!

All the pigments, with the exception of Megarich and Mauvement, will be Permanent Pro

I had been waiting for MAC to come out with the Overrich Collection and I bought mostly all the pigments. I was disappointed though with the Heritage Rouge...is it me or does it seem like there was only 3/4 of a jar of pigment? Anyway, I wrote to customer service and they said they were all packaged that way? 19.50 for a jar that's not full? Humm....?

Also, I finally got my hands on the old Maroon Pigment from a few years back which I was dying for...they are exactly the same except the Maroon was entirely FULL. I was a little disappointed about that too.

With all the new collections that they are coming out with, they really need to make a new variety of colors. I have about 50+ jars and a lot of them are starting to look the same. :0(

Yupp weve all be complaining about this as well haha :) If you go up a few posts i actually posted a picture of my heritage rouge which is only about 3/4 full as well.. IF that... you're def not alone.

I think the majoirty of people have come up with the conclusion that a) it was only 4.3 grams as opposed to the 7(??) in normal pigment jars- and also the finish makes them settle more.

I love my Blonde's Gold & Heritage Rouge [they're both sooo pretty]

But I'm glad that most of these will be permanent at Pro stores so I don't have to worry about rushing out to buy all of them...

I used my Overrich pigments yesterday and they are amazing. I feel in love with my combo of BG on lid, Charcoal Brown on the outter lid and Copperbeam in the crease. I also used Antique Green on the lower lashline. Puuurtty!

^Thanks Cheryl!

I just bought Mega-Rich and Museum Bronze yesterday. Now I have all the pigments except Copperbeam, which I'll pick up eventually.

Does anyone have any ideas on color combos with Museum Bronze? I'm kinda stuck on what to pair it with.

Your welcome

So far i've worn Museum Bronze by itself with Vanilla & Your Ladyship. I love this color, it's a bit like Macs old "Brass". I like colors like this that are dark enough to wear alone or with a darker crease color. It look's great with Vintage gold also.

I wore Museum Bronze in the crease today, with Blonde's Gold all over the lid and Your Ladyship as my highlight.

Gorgeous.
