MAC Pro New Neon Pigments

I am disappointed that only the green one is eye safe. I tried a non-eye safe pigment on my eyes ONCE and my eyes swelled so badly that my eyes were nearly closed. My eyelids were purple because my skin was stretched so badly and they watered and burned like crazy even after I washed it off. They were swollen for 4 days. I don't want to burst any bubbles, but when they say it's not eyesafe, it is for a reason. I found out the painful, NOT so pretty way

I guess its each to their own with pigments and eyes - I use a lot of non eye safe piggies without dramas on my eyes - but let me tell you that the metal pigments almost sent me blind...LOL>...well thats not funny really I guess it burnt like hell.... I'll give anything a go once, but now I always use a really good base first! I am really keen to get Red Electric, Green Space and Full Force Violet, the other 3 are quite loud for my liking but I might still get them anyway

Holy heck were these bright. And intense! They would not come off my hand (i swatched the yellow in the store)

Here is the display in all its neon glory!

Swatches soon of 3/6, I promise!

I saw someone selling colors like this on ebay and assumed they were fakes and the color names she used didnt sound like Macs. Now I'm wondering, they look just like these as far as I can tell. I'll wait until I can get them it will be direct though

Do you know the color names? Are these at pro stores or at Nordstroms also since they arent on-line yet?

Thanks

I actually think I might get some use out of this neon magenta color than my fuchsia p/m. lol I don't like the Fuchsia p/m that much.

Yes! It does looks a bit more purple though and I guess it is cause it's called violet? And that yellow with Primary Yellow please.

I'm also curious how those orangey colors compare to Dusty Coral and the Orange matte pigments. They look different but one of them reminds me of SOMETHING but I can't pinpoint it. Thanks with whatever swatches you bring back though!! =)

I'm the same way. I cant call myself to use a non-eyesafe pigment at all. I've never had a reaction, but because the doc had to up my lens prescription stronger I always have this fear of blindness. I brought 3d sliver glitter and I have never even touched it because I'm scared it will get into my cornea and scratch it. I'm a wimp

Thank you, I misread. I thought that the green was non-lip safe only. I am relieved I can pass on these. My wallet deserves a break!
