This relationship between me and mac is not heathy. I feel so unappreciated.
I know, right?! That NEVER happens!!
Oh and about that Hautecore lipstick I very sadly missed out on... I GOT ONE!!
I checked the Selfridges site and they have it in stock.... So although for how terrible their postage price is for what you get.... I want that lipstick... So I took the plunge!!
I am quite excited now for these!!
My look has changed so much this year. I am far more into that grungey look and so these will be my new fave babies!! I do love the pretty pinks for certain things, but overall, I've gotten darker with my look haha!!
Needless to say I'm rocking Prince Noir for Xmas!! =D

I just got my package. PC is amazing! Totally happy that one of the dark purples worked for me. Feeling like a boss in this color. I would post a photo, but bathroom lighting doesn't do it justice. It's dark outside.

It's got some seriously strong competition from Nudes & Metallics and Riri Summer. But yeah, I'd say this collection is unique because these dark purples and black have never applied or worn as well!
Edit: oh man, and i got a TON of use out of All About Orange! I still think 2014 might bring All About Purple!!!

After looking at all these swatches, I'm tempted to add Punk Couture to my list. I wasn't sure how that shade of purple would look on my lips (and I already have Studded Kiss and Instigator as must-haves), but it looks lovely on all of you!

Instigator didn't work for you? Did it look murky or just make your skin look washed out? I bet with the right blush or skin finish, it'll be great!

I am bummed about Instigator. It's really dark and close to Nars Train Bleu on my lips. I don't see as much purple. PC just compliments my skin tone better, I am NW43. PC has that wow factor for me. I love Studded Kiss as well.

Maybe try what I do to remove excess brown from my browner lipsticks - use a cool pink lipstick underneath that's lighter than your lips. I usually use Hip & Happy on me, but I bet Dervish would work. Also In Anticipation or even Shock Value! That last one would certainly prevent it from looking murky.

Thank you Liba. I will try that. I guess PC is just like nothing I have already, so was more excited about that one and I don't have to alter it much.
