Me too! I'm a huge fan retromattes! I must admit that some of them are drying but it is still my absolute finish especially when it comes to lasting power and i love how my hair can blow in the wind without attaching itself to my lips as with other finishes...

I don't care if you shouldn't do bold lips and bold eyes but I want to pair instigator with the eye look posted on Macs tumblr today, I love that eyeliner fading to MES ...

I like Retro Mattes, but i like regular Mattes more. I love my RiRi Woo and Heaux, but I prefer the texture of Nude.

I prefer Mattes over Retro Mattes as well, but I'm not passing up on these shades to avoid the formula... I might not ever see them again lol!

Aww, hell. Once I read the matte lipstick part, I was all in. There will be a MAC fast in 2014 because I have truly ODed this year.

Can it please be December 26th nao? All the holiday stress will be done, and I can be sitting, patiently waiting for the UPS man to show up with my Punk Couture goodies.

I have to say thanks for all the swatches. The lippies are so beautiful! Not quite as "blackened" as I had hoped for, but I'm likely to buy at least 2 of the lippies, (hautecore and punk couture.. will await comparisons on the other 2) and 2 CSG. I hope the CSGs compare to the glimmer glasses that came with Style black, but more rich in colour and texture. I still have those hanging around, and I use them sparingly, but in all honesty, they don't do much for me, except add a bit of shimmer to my lips, that's barely noticeable. They work a bit better over lipstick (especially dark), but I don't often wear multiple products on the lips, because I don't like how it feels.

I'm sad that the blackened red isn't really blackened. I love super dark colors like that. I don't know if I dare with straight black though.

My favorite blackened red that I own Diabolical Masquerade by Fyrinnae (http://www.fyrinnae.com/index.php?_a=viewProd&productId=420). If you want something super dark but with a hint of red you would love this. I wear it lined with Nightmoth and it's a vampy lip lover's dream.

That is how I feel too, not sure how much use I'll get out of the black one but I'm still going to stalk the site on Thanksgiving for it! Lol

I pictured deeper colors when reading the descriptions, too. BUT I'm still very excited about all the lippies and I really look forward to layering/ombre-ing with Hautecore!
