With me it's because I don't know where i'm going in life and I went from last year january getting ABB in my a-level exams to getting straight U's in june. I don't feel motivated at all and I don't even want to continue with my education because I'm not happy. I don't want to leave either because than I'm like out on my own and jobs are soo hard to find these days I would love a job though just because I want some responsibilities and I want to become independent. Everyone's just telling me to stick it out till the end of college in june but I dunno...it's results day this thursday...I know I did bad but I still don't know how I'm going to face people asking me 'what did you get?!' If I can't handle it I think I just might leave.

I honestly hate being like this cause I feel like I bring everyone else down.

The new In Bloom Wet n Wild polishes seem very similar to these and they are only 1.99!

*hugs* im sorry to hear that alisha. a-levels are very tough to go through.. i went through that a few years ago and i honestly felt stressed out for the entire 2 years.. and i hated results day esp when everyone asked.. i usually just answer "fine" and changed the subject. perhaps after your a levels you can find a job you will enjoy..

bt if anything, we are still all here to hear the makeup ranting and purchases.. =)

Oh, I'm really sorry to hear that you're going through such troubles... I think it's not that uncommon to get frustrated with the education system at a certain point, just because it can't inspire you or appeal to your interests. I honestly couldn't tell you what I did in 90% of the courses I did in university. I know it can get really heavy.

In the meantime, you do have a whole community of crazy makeup chicks here to make you smile...

Alisha, hang in there Sweetie. I know how hard when you get so depressed and just want to give up, been there many times. Hopefully this won't last long and your feelings about school with get better. I really love that I found this site a few years ago and not just because of the makeup talk which I love but there is so much support here. Even though we all are here because of our love of cosmetics there is always so much more being talked about and sometimes you just need to get things off your chest to feel better. As far as I'm concerned that's a good thing, others may disagree. I suppose I look at specktra as my support group in many areas. You always have a lot of friends here.

I'm getting quite impatient for this to come out already. I want to play with those blushes.

i definitely think that specktra has helped me through some tough times (especially last year when my gran had a stroke and the doctors didn't have much hope - she survived though!) specktra and the ladies on here were here for me, and gave me support.

back on topic - not long till this comes out! hopefully more swatches will come out in the next few weeks

I have the blushes in their final revised edition.. and can legally post them and will do so tomorrow if I don't drop dead from this cold..lol.

I can tell you that the colours are quite pale and only the pink one will really show up on most skins.. the lavender and peach are Quite Cute, but quite pale -- afraid that on any skin over NC25, this will only show up as a slight sheen (which could work too). Ultimately, this is up to individual preference. I also have the fab pink ls which I have snagged and am wearing.. for a test run you know

Alisha, surprisingly this is my issue as well, and I'm "grown". I know I need to stay focused on the positive, which is hard. So I created a vision board, not for envisioning my goals, but I used it to put up encouraging words and even scriptures that will help me stay positive. B/c just one thought can spiral me out of control. Don't even ask how long it took to get that up. LOL

I was like you at the end of my College days and finished just to finish. I didn't have the best grades, so I encourage you to try and do you best so that in the future when you want to move to something else you can. It has been hard trying to find a grad school when I didn't get the 4.0 I know I could have gotten. I don't have the best tips for you right now, and I wish I did to help you make it go away. But know that you aren't alone, and you do have ppl here on specktra, and at least you are talking about it and can recognize what is going on. From there you will be able to find a solution that will work.

Talk to your teachers and tell them what is going on and even your school advisor, maybe they can help you in some way.

I hope that you start to feel better sweetie. i know Susanne has had a cold too for the past few weeks! and i am just sick with stress right now (literaly sick... not nice!) and that is good to know that they are quite sheer. i am nc20 so perhaps they will show ok on me? how is the lavender one comparing to hang loose mineral blush (if you have it of course!) and have you used the blushes wet with fix+ for example to see if they are more pigmented? sorry for all the questions! i was just so excited for these babies! and have fun testing it out for us!! and i cant wait for your picture!
