O.k., that's random now, but the color of the new limited edition BMW X1 looks exactly like Goldstone, LOL.

I am so glad I purchased Rare Find - I got one which had very defined brown and purple veins, using the brown veining which only had a hint of purple produced a gorgeous smokey taupe. I wanted an easy everyday SP look and rare find is it. I just did a simple eye with it in 2 mins, mineral mode all over the lid and on brow bone, then rare find from almost inner corner to the outer corner blended up just past my crease, and then using the same vein I darkened the crease by going over it. The end result is a very polished, natural daytime look which looks as though it contains many colours and took an age of blending! I love love love it, I also tried CP as an all over highlight and it is gorgeous. Pics will follow later when I can get on my lappy ;)

So yesterday my Smoked Ruby creased after a few hours with UDPP and a NYX burgandy (I forgot the name - and I didn't even use much for fear of creasing, but the color is so pretty) metallic jumbo eye pencil under it. I tried it out again today with MAC Raven eyeliner (which looks just like Smoked Ruby I might add) all over the lid and under lash line on top of UDPP and it has yet to crease after three hours. I didn't want to use Painterly paint pot or anything like that because I wanted to keep it dark so...if MAC comes out with a PP similar to this shadow I'm getting it.

MrsB, do you think Crystal Pink and Goldstone would work on me? Do you think Crystal Pink would be a good blush colour, I don't want a highligher. I want to get Rare Find now too and a backup of Gem of Roses even though I said I wouldn't but I really like it now haha!

Liba, would you mind posting some swatches of the MES used over some of the Big Bounce shadows if you haven't already? If you are able to, that is. I want to see the cool effects you were able to get with them. I'm hoping my Unsurpassable has been delivered today so I can try it over Trophy Big Bounce as you recommended, I didn't find the others changed that much over Trophy.

I used Goldstone, Pearl, and Rose Quartz with Fix+ today. It's absolutely gorgeous and luminous, giving some extra sheen without looking too slick.

I've been wondering the same thing. Which Big Bounce shadows work best with which MES?

[/quote] CP I think would be too light as a blush, at least I can't get it to show as more than a pale flush on my skin, a barely there glow really which you'll see on th pics I post later. I used it all over my face, then used the middle on my apples and it's still very very slight - maybe if you used the middle alone and layered it, it may work but I'm NC20 so a bit lighter then you I think? but then that's an expensive blush. I think Goldstone would work lovely on you as an all over bronzer, and maybe a blush if you got one with a lot of coral centre? I love GoR too, such a pretty natural colour. I adore Rare Find, it's such a pretty purpley taupe ;)

Ugh! I went to my MAC counter and picked up Hint of Sapphire and Goldstone MSF. I'm totally blaming my purchase of Goldstone on Mac-Guy.

I love it it's so pretty and its sheer enough that it gives me just a hint of sun kissed color.

Hint of Sapphire is so gorgeous with Rare Find! I'm glad it picked it up too.

So my total for this collection is all four MSF's, Rare Find and Hint of Sapphire. I'm happy with everything!

I'm glad you love it, it's the most subtle bronzer ever.

I'm rocking two MSFs today and one would think it overkill, but it's not. I have Rose Quartz (the pink part with a lil of the middle) over a lightly applied Black Radiance mineralized blush and Pearl as a highlight on my cheekbones and brow bones. I have NYX brown liner on with GoR on my lips...pure love. I went with my new WnW trio in Knock On Wood for my eye look so I got this cute pink, glowing look going on today. I'm on freakin' cloud 9 right now.

I took a look at Goldstone and on black skin like mines it looks like a champagney highlight and it looks like something I have...it looks like Cheeky Bronze on me so that's why I skipped it. I think WOC (as black as I am - NC50/NW45) will like to do well with Pearl and Rose Quartz MSF. No ash guys! No ash!

The 179 might last a bit longer in the store because it is the most expensive one. Mind you, many stores have 20 or less products (brushes, MSF, MB, etc...) for each shade or design. E.g. my large f/s MAC store only had 20 MSF in each shade. I would look around in the smaller malls, which are more likely to have the brushes.
Yup. I was hoping I wouldn't need to visit more than one mall, but I stopped by Macy's at another mall the next day & got the 128 split brush.

None of the e/s called to me, so I was good & only got the MSF in Pearl, Gem of Roses l/s & Geo Pink l/g as far as color products are concerned. I always stick to nude or plum lip colors, so Gem of Roses & Geo Pink are a nice change of pace for me.

Mac-Guy, I am loving GS more & more! I wore it with PA, it looks sooo amazing. I am definitely ordering my BU of those 2 today!

Do you think it would suit someone super pale with dark brown hair and eyes, or if I should just accept my paleness and go for Pearl?

Are Jades Fortune and Clarity similar? According to the SA at the shop, Jades Fortune is close to Knights Divine but there is nothing similar to Clarity. What is your opinion? Thanks!
