I'm lovin' this makeup look! You look great!

So, here is a look that I did using Smoked Ruby in the crease and under my eye and connect it it. It looks really good with other reds IMHO. OH, I must warn that I wore this look to an industrial club, lol, so don't be shocked. I am LOVING all of my purchases from this collection. I have not had any problem with them fading or creasing or anything, I have never had that problem with any MES actually. I have no idea what these bloggers and youtubers are talking about when they say that. I think maybe a lot of them just follow what Temptalia(love her site to bits) says about them or I really don't know what they are doing or how they are using them. i have no problem using them wet or dry and I actually just treat them like my pigments. I put on my usual base and them use them dry or wet with mixing medium and it stays on forever. I actually did this look at about 8:30 at night and didn't take the pics until 2:30 in the morning(of course th lipstick was reapplied, but that's it, LOL)

Got rare find with a lil of the pink side of my dark magic MES (just on inner corner) and i blended with stars and rockets.

on cheeks i got vintage grape (just got it in a swap) and on lips my blooming lovely lippie





if you ignore my sweaty moustache u can see how pretty and wearable rare find is... LOVE

Do many people have both jades fortune and unsurpassable? Is it worth having both or are they too similar?

i hve unsurpassable! its the bomb!! i swatched jades fortune but i wasnt as excited by tt colour.


its funny because with this collection, i really had wanted to skip the mes. When i first went to the counter, i bought feeling flush and pressed amber. side note: I love feeling flush! its now my favourite blush of the moment! Then, during the weekend, while waiting to watch transformers in the cinema I decided to visit the mac counter just to browse. *sigh* its difficult just to browse in mac. i ended up with clarity, unsurpassable and rare find mes. also, i got 2 perm lippies (lipblossum and faux). i used rare find during the weekend for a musical and loved it but it did nt really last very long. in tt the colour fades a little. but i only used water. ill try UDPP next time round. i loved clarity! it was the mes that was sold out (GOR was the first thing to sell out, followed by Clarity). Everything else was still available. It has been an expensive haul for me. And I'm still thinking about the msfs.. But I want to save money for Glam Glosses so I shall try my very best to hold out!

I think I may go back to my counter and get Goldstone msf. I believe Macguy has been a bad influence on me. I might pick up hint of sapphire mes too. What are your thoughts on these two?

I keep eyeing that one, and Rose Quartz. I may have to call around and check to see if either of them are still available....

honestly, goldstone msf looks really lovely! its probably my favourite msf of the collection! but tts just me! =)

I am sooo considering trying to grab Goldstone... I think it would be so gorgeous buffed all over the skin and topped with the Pearl as a blush and highlighter!!! Mac-Guy, this is all your fault

I did a look yesterday with Golden Gaze, Pearl, Lush Amber and Natural Flare - on the eyes, I used UD Virgin as a highlight and then to blend out the crease, Sin in the inner corner and a touch of Half Baked on the lower lashline. Sooo pretty! Then I used the Pearl Nipple as a blush and a blend of the whole thing as a highlight. Too bad my lighting and camera aren't so great (taken with my computer), but I wanted to share anyways!!!

The pearl nipple is great. The burgundy-plum veining is just right to give a very natural flush.

I didn't pay much attention to Clarity because I was afraid of the glitter. I will have to check it out then as it seems everyone is loving it.

I do love GG and you can get a great olive tint to it. I wonder what it would look like over Cash Flow pp, maybe too much gold. Dark Ind. is very pretty also. I will probably go play some more as I see more beautiful looks from you guys. I wore GG today with TFSI and it did not fade or crease and we hit 95 today and humid as hell.

As soon as I mentioned the great upcoming fall collections the ma just started spouting off all the great stuff. Usually they don't know what I'm talking aobut. She was going on and on. At the register she asked me where I got my info if it was specktra or temptalia? I told her specktra of course. She was just so adorable and so excited about all the products and collections.

I Have had a few days to play with my haul and although I haven't had a chance to play with all my mes my must haves from this collection are The 2 face brushes- fantastic for flawless foundation application and they feel amazing Unsurpassable- I got one with plenty of purple and deep green/teal veins and it's beautiful Mineral mode- doesn't seem to be the most popular in general but I love it as a neutral wash which has a sheen of pink and grey taupe I have still to try my clarity and hos but I have a feeling they will be fab

Edelmc, I completely agree with you on Mineral Mode, it's a lovely base/highlight colour and works great at brightening the eye :eyelove:
