Smoke & Diamonds is amazing- its like Satin Taupe's cousin with less brown and more grey.

The finish on these is sooooo creamy...mmm. I really hope they make more of this formula as its devine!

I went to my local counter and bought them on saturday and didnt like top hat at all. It was too dark for me IMO. Im a nc 35 and I felt it just looked like blue charchol on my skin.

Azia....that article is a lie. That cant be one of her top must haves....and you can soooo tell they made up the quote too lol. like, yeah she may love the shadows, but I doubt she has all the Starflash shadows and loves them all. like....come on.

Does that make sense or am I just reading too much into it LOL

definately purple. a much better version (texture-wise) as fertile. its a dark, blue based blackened purple-much different than parfait amour. the two don't compare.

Can someone clarify for me - are these eyeshadows unique in terms of finish/texture? I have to admit I haven't been following the speculation on this collection very closely, so I was a little confused when looking at the site today and trying to decipher what sort of finish these had.

Yes, they have a new, unique finish.

You are reading too much into it.. she just said she loves MAC e/s and has a lot of colors... they (magazine) just added that pic and shadow to it... she never mentioned WHAT e/s she loves or has.. just "a lot"

Magazines usually put new stuff in when talking about a product... stuff that just got out or is being released soon...

I see that magazines do that sometimes....it bugs me though. Like yeah I'm sure she does like MAC and have a lot of their shadows....but why stick a picture of a LE shadow in there?? Like DUH obviously cuz they want to sell it, advertise it....

but it bugs me when I see magazines putting MAC's LE stuff in...what if someone reads it next month and the shadow is long gone and can't get it? That would suck.

but I guess its hard to tell what is perm and what isnt at MAC these days
