I am having a great time with my sister-in-law and niece this weekend! Yesterday was a visit to the MAC Store, and my niece got her first makeover and bought a bunch of goodies! From Starflash, she got Sunset B and Lotusland. I got more than I expected. I ended up with Sunset B, Lotusland, Top Hat, Talent Pool, Smoke and Diamonds and from the permanent line, Fig 1. Also added 3 more Mineralize Blushes to my collection. I am wearing Smoke and Diamonds and Top Hat today with Vanilla pigment, and love both of them.

I'm NW15 with blue eyes, and Smoke & Diamonds is awesome! It's one of those colors that I think will go with any other color - I was playing around with it last night with Fuschia (how do you spell that?) pigment and it looked great! I suspect Top Hat will be a favorite for me, but it hasn't arrived yet so I don't know. My speedy generic shadow look is pinks and purples, though, so I'm sure I'll wear it a lot.

I want Bold & Brazen as well but haven't got it yet. It looked great swatched on my hand. Similar to Expensive Pink (but not exact dupes) and I suspect it'll work better on my coloring.

glad you had a good mac weekend it sounds like. I love your hauls, because while i'm mostly a neutrals girl, you always impress me with your range of colour choices. ugh I'm a creature of habit but hope to break out! *edit break out of the mold, not break out in pimples*

How are you finding Top Hat? do you have Thunder? Top Hat looked so nice, but not sure how many dark purples I need....lol

I'm NW 20 w/ and have blue/green eyes. So far I'm liking Go, Smoke & Diamonds, and Mink & Sable. I have Glamour Check but haven't tried it yet.

I'm not a fan of the kohls. IMO, they aren't very long lasting and if you use them to line the bottom lashes/waterline they do smudge (at least on me).

I am NW15 with green eyes and I think that grand entrance, smoke & diamonds, and talent pool look great with our skintone. Also I love the kohl powers and for me mystery and feline are musts!

Glad that you are having a good time Audrey! I was wondering where you have been. You got a nice haul and I bet that your niece enjoyed her new shadows!

I haven't seen the collection yet... I'm still waiting for my package

UPS messed up and didn't deliver it on Friday. I will get it tomorrow though. I can't wait! I got 8 of them and 2 longwears...LOL.

I tried a nice, neutral look today that will be great for the office - Perky p/p on the lid up to just above crease, Sunset B. over that, Bold & Brazen in the crease, Grand Entrance to highlight and inner lid and to blend the other colors, and Mink & Sable to slightly deepen crease. Lined with Orpheus. Dainty blush, Fast Thrill l/s with Money, Honey Dazzleglass....it was peachy/pinky, very feminine but no 'pink-eye' look. I'm fair with Hazel eyes, salt & pepper hair. This is definitely one of my 'keeper' looks for the office. Thanks to Glam8babe & JennToz for the Perky p/p idea!

Thanks, I will definitely let you know! I'm guessing it will be amazing...if it ever gets here!! I am actually wondering, with all this hype, if I should order a backup...heaven forbid it should be amazinggg and gets sold out! hehe.

S&D on lid and TH in the crease with Vanilla as highlight. O and I used Love Thing with Warmed MSF. Plumful l/s with Oyster Gurl l/g

ok so i went on launch day (thursday) and i got top hat, talent pool and glamour check and got them from the mac store i always go to. I went back today (sunday) to get smoke and diamonds and they were SOLD OUT !! i thought that was crazy that it got sold out in like 4 days.

So praying i went to the mac counter at the bay and asked the MA for smoke and diamonds and like 10mins later he has like guess what hun u got the last one !!!

Talent Pool is looks so pretty with blue flame on the outer corner

OMG I love Feline eye kohl! I put it on this afternoon around 12ish and it's still on my waterline (it's 11:40 pm)!

I've NEVER in my life had something stay on for this long, NEVER. It's either my eye has had some sort of a miracle or the eye kohl has some magic in it. hahaha I think I'll grab a back up, I think.

I tried the eye kohls again last night, this time with a generous coat of Liner Last over them. They didn't smudge in the couple hours I had them on, which was better than before (when they made lines above the crease and a huge smudge below my eyes - and that's WITH primer!), but the extra step of coating them takes time I normally don't have in the mornings. (I'm using them on the lashline, not waterline. My eyes really don't like being lined on the waterline!)

I'm not sure that Raven is visibly different enough from regular black liner for me to bother with, I'll have to test it again. Mystery I'll keep, though, as I don't have anything that color and I'm really into teals lately.

Last night I tried Smoke & Diamonds with Parrot, and Mystery liner and I liked it a lot! It was very teal, but the Smoke & Diamonds toned it down enough to possibly be acceptable at work. Assuming I ever get up early enough to do more than my super-quick default makeup for work.

I do have Thunder but haven't compared the two. I don't use Thunder much though, cause I hate the texture. I will compare the two and let you know what I think

I really want to try Lotusland and Talent Pool together and I guess Top Hat will look gorgeous with the Shadowy Lady Quad from CoC
