December 26 for stores. I cannot remember the online release.

I was at Nordstroms last last and my girl was working and she said they were getting this collection and took my preorder....... I was asking about Makibg Pretty and she said that was the only collection they weren't getting... so I'm hella confused!! hopefully I won't receive the dreaded phone call later :/ I also pre ordered my pressed pigments and she told me to call back after I know what I want from après chic... I got the new mascara, have it tried it yet tho!

Ha I heard the opposite from Nordstorm and they took my order for Making Pretty. *shakeshead* Girl, we will never get it together.

I can't wait for this collection to come out. I need Strong Woman and Firm Form lipstick. The two blushes and those quads in my life.

Thanx. I noticed. they do look similar, but I think I preffer the gold one. Maybe with ruffian gold over black liner would work. I dont think I'd wear it often :/

I just called my MACY and she confirmed me that this will get this collection on January 3rd...I stopped by another Mac counter inside Macys the other night and they confirmed to me that this is a MAC store/online collection. I was so sad because the other Macys' MAC counter told me that would call me when they were ready for pre orders
I will not sleep with you guys.. I mean I will stay awake with you guys I must have AP, PP and PP LSs!!

So. Is this collection & the Apres Chic online and at MAC stores on Dec. 26th? And then in Macy's and Nordstrom's on January 3rd? Or am I getting myself even more confused? I hope MAC will release these collections before XMas to be honest. I'd truly love to have Firm Form in time for Christmas. I can just see my family's reaction to my wearing a black/gold lipstick for the holidays & for the family portraits.
I can't wait!!!!!!

I'm pretty sure both collections are releasing on Dec. 26th. Strength is online and MAC store only, and AC is online, in store, and at counters, all the same day. I think some MAs are confused because the original release date was supposed to be Jan. 3rd for this collection, but it got moved up to Dec. 26th. At least that's been my understanding.So. When I asked Macy's they said jan 3 also but I asked awhile back, I'll ask again to see what they say and if they'll be taking preorders

You don't have to know people at a MAC store to pre-order but it certainly doesn't hurt. Building a relationship with a SA/MUA is helpful because it allows them to get to know you, your likes, dislikes and preferences. I have met some of the most wonderful people at my local MAC store who look out for me and who I consider to be friends. From day one, upon walking into this particular store, every single SA acknowledged me and every person who entered. This was not the behavior about which I had read regarding some other MAC stores...rude SAs, etc. This is truly an amazing group of people. I also ordered from a MAC store out of state because my local store was out of an item that I failed to pre-order, and later wanted. My store referred me to a store in New Jersey and the SA who happened to answer the phone was really nice, took my order, shipped the merchandise & enclosed a sweet note.
Give it a shot!
