It amazes me that these standalone MAC stores function so differently. :shock:
I once did an out-of-state order and I did not pay or shipping. The order was over $50 so they I'd an override for free shipping. They would have charged me but I questioned it.
I preorder locally and I NEVER pay for shipping.
I didn't question them. I'll call when it is closer to the release date and ask about the shipping.

The one down side to preordering for me is that it doesn't get shipped to me until the same day that it's released to the public. A collection generally launches online before that so I end up waiting and listening to everyone else singing the praises of their new products. I just need to sit still & be patient but that just doesn't happen! The plus side to that is I can change my order if folks here on Spectra think a product is lousy or great...and trust me, I look for those opinions, :encore:
