That ONE study showed that it was probably helping maintaining a healthy level of saturated fat NOt maintaining a healthy brain. Since then many other studies go against it but medias got throwed away by that one, so people believe it, and sure the lobeying go for that one. What the medias don't tell is that the subjects of that study had very healthy life styles so it's not hard to believe it wasn't directly correlated to the glass of wine. Plus, it was one glass of wine effects on the heart the object of the study NOT on a fetus. EVERY studies shows that alcohol CAN affect them. And I'm not saying your gonna end with a highly handicaped baby if you drink one glass of alcohol, but just for fun how do you know a baby wouldn't think 2.23% faster if it wasn't for that? Or wouldn't have less learning issues? or wouldn't have greater perceptions? or would'nt have been better in any other cognitive ability? Alcohol is a poison and the brain of a fetus don't have any protection against it, as opposed to us adults.

I don't know why you answered to my post in such a way, what you are saying is just not ok.

I greatly value your opinion on certain things but you should let go if you're not sure about something as important as that. We are talking about the effects of a well known drug on a fetus, the point is not to defend an opinion. I was trying to share the knowledge we have today about that subject, not downgrading your post or something like that.

I'm wondering if VAE compares to Lush's dark angels since it is a black exfoliator also? I am absolutely in love with dark angels and I have enough to last me atleast a year so I don't really need to buy VAE unless it is better. Anybody know?

But thanks for this...because no matter how people hate it when I say this...there was tons of glitter and fallout in the MES I tried...Not that that is a bad thing...but just a simple fact IMO and observation

Thank GOD for me and my MA (since he is gay) that I will not need to put a spoon in my handbag tomorrow

Yup, there is glitter, lots of glitter, but they're so pretty I don't even care. But I thought I should warn people before they order, that if you are afraid of glitter or possible fallout, then they should pass on these.

Nah, I reserve the wine for online shopping/Mac web site stalking and sharing TMI here. My MA loved it though. Judging by her laughter, I think that expression is going into her Rolodex as well.
And I also want to add that no kitchen cutlery was harmed during this shopping expedition.

Pamela, I appologize if my original statement offended you, as it was directed at you and nobody else. Apparently it offended others. I was in no way saying it was ok to completely abandon all logical thinking and drink it up and retard your baby.

So again, I appologize to you.

Please don't forget - we are all allowed to have an own opinion. It must not be the same all the time. No one should feel offended.

Can someone talk me out of buying Volcanic Ash Exfoliator? I remember all of the hype surrounding it the last time but I have not heard much about it this time

Right now I use a Philosophy Scrub that I am very happy with but am always open to new stuff if it works. Do I need this? Is it one of those things that I need to try or can I pass?

How come its not hyped up big time on the forum like last time? Is everyone over it?

And what about this mask?

I don't us Dark Angels but my MA does and he said it's not near as exfoliating or deep cleaning as VAE. Sorry to be an enabler but I'm convinced VAE is the best exfoliator I've ever tried and since my mother is an aesthetician I've tried every type of exfoliator and cleanser she's pushed my way to cure my acne and clear my pores. I've only used it twice and I already noticed a difference. I already bought 3 tubes and think I need 3 more.
