Just got back from my counter.

First off, holy moly, Tish! I'm so sorry you had such an idiot stressing you out. Evidently the Cow did not get the memo that the first day of a collection release is supposed to be a festive party, not Mortal Kombat. You deserve a glass of delightfully intoxicating beverage and a medal for not cleaning her clock on the spot. What is it with rude people now days? Hugs, indeed.

Shopping expedition v 2.0:
Also picked up all four MES as planned and they're so purty. The GBA I picked up has lots of black, so I'm hoping it won't be straight up gold when applied. It occurred to me that the GBA would probably look quite lovely over Macroviolet, so I'm going to play with that tonight. I am so pleased with these. I think this is one of my favorite things that MAC has released this year.

*stepping into the impulsive shopper confessional booth* I may have also picked up a tube of VAE as well. So much for my steely resolve.

And I may have sauntered over to Nordie's rack where they had a bunch of Shu on sale as well. I picked up a couple of their matte blushes and eye shadows to counterbalance all the sparkle in my MAC shopping bag. They also have two Shu lippies that were both lavender, P R 051 and PK 330. Since I missed Lavender Whip and Mewsical, I picked these up as well and they are beyond faboo. And with that I'm done shopping for a good long while.

yeah Style Black took me to a totally different level today......way to go MAC ..... My dh was like why you didn't put me on speaker phone I haven't heard you go off since you told my exwife you would kick her ass up between her shoulder blades and she was not gonna like having to open her mouth to take a shit on a daily basis....I said Oh yeah I did have a moment that one other time

I am back from my f/s. Tish I am sending a big vodka and cranberry your way. Sounds like you had a hell of a morning and I am sorry you had to deal with trash like that.

Bad news for Seattle Specktralites going to the f/s at U-Village. They didn't get enough GPS to fill pre-orders and are sold out!! (Fortunately for me, I preordered ages ago and am a favorite of all the MAs there because of my patience and good Southern manners so they take great care of me). They got EXTREMELY LIMITED stock (6 or less) of : Black Knight, MM, NV, Bling Black, and Blackware..They also didn't get Dazzlecremes in. They are hoping to get stock along with DSquared by Monday.

Ello all, I'm so proud of myself I made a b-line for mac tonight and I only
came away with 2 items from Styleblack: greaspaint stick + Cinderfella.
Although not so proud that I broke down and got asphalt flower fragrance.

So I just got home from seeing the collection. I really think you need to see it in person because photos hardly do it justice.

I was surprised that the GPS was so soft. These definitely don't need to be warmed up like the shadesticks. It was loaded with purple shimmer. I swatched it about 2 hours ago and tried to wash it off. My arm is sort of stained, if that says anything about its staying power. LOVE these! Wish they were permanent.

If you think the photos of the MES are gorgeous... Wait until you see them in person. Young Punk is STUNNING. I'm thinking it'll be even better with a black base.

I'm so ready for Dsquared. All of the GPS are coming home with me.

The Cyan, Yellow, and Black ones are. The Magenta one is not - it has a bit of a sheen to it, almost like a satin.
